Jeff, the owner, is one of the most knowledgeable Toyota truck experts on the planet. His knowledge can be indispensable to a Toyota truck enthusiast who values custom work and unique upgrades. The office administrator, Sheri, is sweet, and she knows billing and invoices, and will remember your name and your vehicle. You won't need to reintroduce yourself every time you talk to her. But she's not a car nut and she doesn't pretend to be. Ultimately, you have to talk to Jeff. I've watched Jeff work on my own 88 Pickup multiple times. He can take it apart and put it back together with his bare hands. He loves his work so much that he'll do extra stuff just to make it perfect. One one occasion in particular, Jeff personally stripped my truck for painting in about 20 minutes, and reassembled it just as fast when I returned from the paint shop a week later. He was disgusted with the cheapo front fender I put on myself and insisted that the truck deserved better, so for about 100 bucks he installed an OEM piece from his own yard in minutes. He also discovered a defect in the seal of the windshield and decided it had to be pulled and reinstalled. He got on the phone with his glass guy who showed up, again, within minutes, pulled the windshield, and replaced the seal. Jeff is so compelled and driven for excellence that you just can't stop him. You have to go along with most of what he says because you know in the end you'll be glad you did. I certainly am. Visit Toy Connection only when you have the time and the patience for dealing with a chaotic environment and sometimes difficult people and you can learn a lot about your truck. If the staff is scarce, return another time. Eventually, if you get to know the place and the people you can get the kind of restoration and upgrades you dream of.
