Horrible place to buy from I called over the phone asking about the return policy on this and they told me I was able to return it as the part was not used I come walking almost 5 miles just for them to tell me I can’t return it due to the box being stepped on saying that it’s used when the pet is clearly unopened and still in a sealed bag this is something that should be said over the phone upon having the customer make a whole trip in this heat just to get refused in the end it also something that should be said upon purchase that everything has to be in perfect condition including the box in order to return it the part is not used at all it’s in the same sealed bag as it was when purchased and given

Unbelievable and extremely despicable what I experienced today, October 7th, at Quick Stop auto parts.<br>I went to return one of the radiator hoses that I bought on September 27th. I bought two hoses.<br>The return policy clearly stipulates that I have 30 days to return an item.<br>The hose was not used. It wasn't a special order, and I had the original receipt.<br>This is a transcript of what transpired while I was trying to return the hose.<br>Employee:<br>Are you going to buy something?<br>Me:<br>Not at this time. I don't need anything.<br>Employee:<br>I can only give you store credit. You bought it more than a week ago. You only have a week to return it to get your money back. I am just following store policies.<br>Me:<br>Why, I have 30 days to return the item. (I pointed at the return policy sign posted in plain view right behind his back).<br>Employee:<br>I am going to credit you $24.00 back.<br>Me:<br>Why?<br>Employee:<br>Because I have to charge you 10% restocking fee.<br><br>The hose was $29.09. Obviously, he wasn't charging me 10%. He was trying to rip me off.<br><br>Me:<br>There shouldn't be a restocking fee because it wasn't a special order.<br>Employee:<br>You are making me waste my time.<br><br>He saw me taking a picture of the return policy disclosure, and then he proceeded to refund my money. He seemed very upset because he couldn't take me for a ride.<br>I asked for my original receipt, which he kept behind the counter. He ripped off the receipt, which showed the items that I bought, and he only gave me back the debit card receipt, which showed the amount paid.<br><br>Extremely reproachable and deceiving tactics to try to take advantage of me and try to rip me off by not wanting to issue a full refund based on lies and violating store policies.<br>What a con artist!<br>I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. In case that you have to return an item make sure that you get full refund and not just a partial refund.<br>But, mainly avoid this place at all costs.

I was a loyal customer to this place, gave them business as a small company. Especially since Autozone, Oreilley's and NAPA carry the same parts they do, and from better manufactures at about the same price.<br><br>Now, I would never go there. These people don't offer warranty on their parts. I know because the parts they have sold are always defective. This time was a cylinder for my truck. I went to talk to Jose and the other guy and they refused to replace it. Then i went to explain and showed them pictures and once again they did not care to help or refund the part. They rather lose a customer for 45.00 than to replace it.<br><br>I HAVE FILED A COMPLANT THROUGH BBB about this issue, especially since i tried to handle it myself. They also have an unlicensed mechanic doing their work, and with out proper business practices to include proper tax for services rendered. As a Private Investigator, I will ensure to get these people from doing bad business.<br><br>Autozone and Oreilley's will give you 1 year warranty on part just like the one a purchased no questions asked. So if I were you, GO TO THE OTHER COMPANY's were they will let you be the customer and customer service will help you rather than turn you away.
