I have never been cheated on weight like this place. Tricky scale positioning to lower weight plus added 10 pound tare weights for 1 pound plastic containers which adds up when you have 4 of them. On Christmas Eve no less. Price per pound doesn’t even matter when they skim 40 % off the top

I wish I could give 0 stars. I was quoted a price on the phone and upon arrival the price drops down by $2 a lb. They are scammers. I went to another recycling location and got an extra $0.50 on top of the original quoted priced from this place. Trust, do not go here, they will change prices upon arrival.

They pay sometimes better than other scrap yards but this place is ridiculous. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a place that has Spanish speaking employees. But the big problem is that this place is mostly of only Spanish speaking employees that do not understand English.<br><br>There's a older gentleman that will stand there and watch dog everything you are removing and will just stand and watch extremely close as he stands next to you. Does not really offer help either.<br><br>First of all with covid still being a issue and the fact while unloading it will either get himself or myself hurt dropping things, they get in the way and do not keep a safe distance. And if there is something they can't accept they will just say no and they cannot explain why...<br>Not to mention just went there first thing in the AM and they were all about 20 minutes late to open the gates. There's barely any space and there's no good way to communicate. There should be someone who can speak clear English or Spanish in the yard and near the scales.<br>I've had questions about why certain items were weighed a certain way and there's no way to communicate if you cannot communicate with a bilingual speaking person.<br><br>This place needs tuning up with it's employees, needs a better layout or new location. You shouldn't operate a business that exchanges money if you cannot communicate clearly about your products.
