In November one of my employees drove my van and left the parking brakes on. I took my van to Connell Country to get them replaced. They informed me that the whole rear end on both sides needed new parking brakes, the hubs and wheel bearings needed to be replaced and all of the brakes as well. They charged me $3,389.08 which at the time I was fine with considering the work that needed to be performed. A week or so later I heard noises and felt something from the rear end of my van and took the van back. They looked at the van and said everything looked great. My van then sat in my parking lot until after the holidays I got another mechanic to look into the matter and found out the only thing Connell Country did was replace the rotors and brake pads. The noise I was hearing was the broken parts grinding around from the parking brakes that were still broken. Long story short I was charged $3,389.08 for services that should have only cost me $600 because all they did was replace the rotors and pads but charge me for everything. Look at the pictures attached. Be careful dealing with them, they will do it to you too.<br><br>I reached out to them with my concerns and they refuse to accept responsibility. They tried to insinuate that I broke them again even though you can clearly see that those are not new parts and they have record of the mileage on the vehicle and I have only driven this vehicle sixty miles since I received it from them. My next step is reporting them to the BBB and then getting my lawyer involved.
