I took my new Jeep Wagoneer in for an engine replacement! I said that correctly engine blew up at 13,000 miles. ( did not buy from Elm Grove) While in the care of Elm Grove Dodge they melted the top of the vehicle with a heater in the shop. The interior smells of mildew probably because after the top was melted and they left it out in the rain with all the seals compromised from the heat damage. The day was April 21st 2025 at 4:31. Just so they know I have the pictures to back that up. When I called from the parking lot to ask if it was inside I was assured it was while I was watching it set in the rain. Seems like lying isn’t a big deal to their customers. The plastics in the vehicle are “warped” and are falling off the head liner of the vehicle. Just total lack of caring or responsibility for their actions.
Both attempts to fix the vehicle have been unsatisfactory. Kind of hard to fix something that you completely destroyed. I’ve had the service manager call me a liar. I have not once heard an apology from the dealership. “Hey sorry we destroyed your SUV” would show at least they care. But no it’s always some member of service trying to minimize what happened to the vehicle. Even when it happened they tried to minimize it with the word “warped”. I’ve called their corporate headquarters and received no call back. I’ve been told several times that someone from upper management would be in touch. Even today. But as usual he has the title of something like service manager or maintenance. If anyone from upper management reads this and would like to chat your service manager has my number. I doubt you’re going to not know who this is unless you melt cars normally at your service shops.
I’ve asked very nicely to have this handled between myself and the dealership. No harm no foul. I’m very understanding and I know accidents happen. But it’s always we will fix it, it’s not that bad, or you’re a liar we didn’t say that. Well I’ve gave you your chance. You have failed to make things right. This is the first public forum that I am posting to. My next step will be renting a billboard along interstate 70 with the pictures of the damage done to my SUV.

I was making a military move from Southern MD to OH when my turbo gave out in WV. Bill and John at Elm Grove got me in right away. Unfortunately, there is a nationwide back order on turbos and actuators with no ETA. However, Bill and John recommended several alternatives to get me on my way. While no work was done at this dealership, the customer service and genuine care for my situation was impressive, not something you normally expect from a “stealership”
