⸻ WARNING: Stay Away From This Tow Company Yesterday I had a blowout on the side of 288 and called this company for roadside assistance. At first everything seemed fine. I was quoted $140 for a tire change, told the ETA would be 30–45 minutes, and that I could pay with Apple Pay when the driver arrived. They also asked for my card number to “put on file,” assuring me it would not be charged. After waiting 35+ minutes, I called back to get an update. That’s when the story changed. I was suddenly told they could not send a driver unless I paid through a payment link first. At this point I was already frustrated because we had already discussed payment and they already had my card information. I had also been waiting on the highway for 40+ minutes. Since I had already waited so long and didn’t want to restart the process with another company, I went ahead and paid the $155 they charged through the link. They then gave me a new ETA of 28 minutes. 35 minutes later… still no driver. Ironically, another tow company randomly pulled over, helped me change the tire, and did the job for about half the price with zero hassle. When I called this company back to request my refund for a service they never showed up to perform, I was told there would be a $40 cancellation fee. This was never mentioned at any point before I paid. The next day when I called to follow up, the cancellation fee had magically become $49. So let me get this straight: • They made me prepay for a service they never delivered • Never sent a driver • Changed their story multiple times • Then charged a cancellation fee for canceling a service that never arrived This experience felt extremely dishonest and scam-like. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
