Made an appointment for Truman Automotive because they are literally the only place I could find open in Indianola on a Saturday. They seem like super super good dudes however my issue was with the pricing of the services that I received. I came in for an oil change and got it priced over the phone of somewhere between $60 and $70. For full synthetic that wasn't too shabby. However I got there and I asked them to rotate my tires as well. That's always been kind of standard with any oil change I've gotten and I've never ever had that be an entirely separate charge when I've gotten an oil change anywhere else. That being the case, I didn't even think to ask. That was entirely my fault and my mistake. They got me done and it was a fast service (which I really appreciated). When I was checking out, I got sticker shock. $122! They charged me separately for the tire rotation (which was almost $40 alone) and the oil change was almost $80. I was really hoping to find a reasonable and trustworthy long-term mechanic in Indianola since I just moved here but unfortunately will definitely not be going back.

Josh is a great guy. Always takes great care of my car. The shop dogs are a big highlight for my visits. Always have a treat for them. Most trustworthy mechanic shop out there as far as I'm concerned.

My experience was fantastic. Before they even worked on my car, they told me exactly what they were gonna do and how much it would cost. I felt that it was very reasonable and I have known the Truman family so I had trust .when I picked up my car, I was thrilled. It ran so much better and it was so reasonable. It’s just amazing that there’s still a trustworthy business that you can count on with excellent customer service. was certainly a huge blessing for this old gal!!
