I can't say enough good things about Baldwin Automotive. At my last oil change, I was alerted that my battery charge was low and was going to need to be replaced sometime in the next few months. Well, last night when my car wouldn't start, I figured out that was NOW. This morning, my little Civic got enough of a charge to get it up the street so I could drop it off. And even with a busy shop and without an appointment, in less than an hour, I got the call that my car was ready. I really appreciate the quick and friendly service and especially how Baldwin Automotive never tries to upsell on something I don't need right away (new tires, new battery, services, etc.) but is quick to take care of issues when they do appear.

It's obvious why this shop has such high ratings. Evan was really helpful and talked through some of the issues with my car, and had me in and out. If I'm ever passing through Baldwin City in the future and have car issues, I'll know exactly where to go.

Ed Jackson and his lead tech Evan are 2 of the smartest men ive ever spoken to about mechanical work and with their hourly rate so low they will always stay busy ive recommended hundreds of people to them a++++++ they put the tires on my truck as well as a heater core a blower motor blower motor resistor thermostat and gasket and oil filter seal. Any shop in olathe or gardner or Lawrence would have charged me 4000 for all of that ed got me out the door for around 2500 amazing!!!
