Kevin Hopkins@Eastside Collision is the only person throughout the past years that has worked on my Classic 1982 Mustang GT. I thought my Mazda RX8 was totaled, but EASTSIDE COLLISION made her look shiny & sharp ZOOMZOOM! My GMC Sierra 4X4 pickup looks amazing, too! I used this company a year or two ago to reattach a trailer hitch. They did an awesome job at the time, and the repair has lasted. So when I needed body work done due to an accident that wasn't my fault, I thought I would use them again because I couldn't do it due to lack of tools. Was I wrong. I am not impressed at all. They gave me an estimate. Now, I am in the service industry too and I realize sometimes it is more because of what is found once you "start peeling the onion". But it was over $1k more than what was estimated. There were some parts that I didn't have, but there was also much more I expected for paying an extra grand. They reused the old fog light assembly, which had been clearly damaged from the accident. Then, didn't even check the fog lights to see if they both worked (the damaged one did not, due to a bad bulb). They also had to replace the washer fluid reservoir due to damage. Well, they didn't even check to see if it was connected properly. It has 2 motors, one for windshield, one for rear hatch glass. They had put the wrong connectors on each of the motors, meaning when I wanted to clean my windshield, it cleaned the rear hatch glass. Probably would have noticed that if they had put in some washer fluid and tried them out (reservoir was bone dry when I received my vehicle back). Next was the fact none of my headlights were adjusted. Driver's side headlight was fine, but the passenger side was way too high. So, I am having to adjust that. Basically I am not pleased with the fact that I paid so much more and that so much got left unchecked or just slapped together.

My first experience with Eastside Collision was in February when I took my truck to them for a deer collision repair. They did an awesome job on a timely schedule. 2nd experience was last week when my truck developed a transmission leak from that same repair. I called them since they originally fixed the trunk and they immediately sent a wrecker to me so that I didn’t cause damage by driving the truck anymore. They spent the time to fix the issue and even provided me a rental car during that week. The whole process was handled very professionally and I can’t say enough good things about my 2 experiences with them. Thanks guys.
