These guys were a lifesaver for us when we were visiting MDI the week after the 4th of July. Our battery died - 1st in a parking lot in Acadia and then when we got back to our hotel and tried to start it again. I called Fletchers around 11 that morning after reaching out to AAA and finding out they don't do on-site battery replacements in that area as they do where we live. The woman who answered at Fletchers (one of the owners) said if we could get a jump start they would have an opening around 2. She also made sure they had all of the info on our car to make sure they had the right battery. As promised, they helped us out that afternoon and had us in and out in under an hour. We had such a wonderful experience and everyone was so friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. It is great to know that when you are visiting a more remote area there is a local business able to help you out in a pinch. Highly recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars I can’t say enough good things about Fletcher’s Auto in Southwest Harbor! I walked in with a frustrating issue trying to remove my license plates, and the team jumped into action without hesitation. They fixed the problem on the spot and even got me scheduled for an inspection the same day—talk about efficiency! From my first visit to the day of my inspection, their service was nothing short of amazing. The staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about getting you back on the road. Excellent service, responsive and speedy. I hit a deer and needed to replace my front headlight. Called 6 places, but since it's the busy season no one could get me in. Someone recommended Fletcher's and I called and got an appointment for the following week. They ordered the part in advance and I dropped the car off in the morning. Prices were reasonable and the car is fixed! The deer walked off to live another day.
