Terrible company, only in it for profit. Had a bad accident at the beginning of the year caused by icy conditions and had bad coverage at the time. Didnt cover the vehicle and unfortunately I was out of work, so this company had it at their lot for a while. I get hit with a notice of disposal of an abandoned vehicle. I knew because it wasnt paid off, finance company would try to repossess and so I cañlee georges and attempted to work out a payment plan to grab my car outta there and fix the disposal notice. I called on a thursday and was told they would call back within a day. Next day comes and no call. Called again, they said they would encourage the gm to call ne back asap as I reiterated how important it was to get that car squared away. Still. No. Call. I called multiple more times through the weekend and finally when I called on monday, instead of a call from the GM, the receptionist lady called me back with a plan to pay some now and a payment plan later. Then calls me back literally 30-45 minutes later saying oh I’m sorry repo company is on the way with all the paperwork, so only way you can get it is if you pay all of it upfront right now and tow it out today. So they seemingly intentionally put me off until they could force me in a corner to get over 3000 dollars off me. Would rather hand it to a repo team for full price up front than help somebody from their community out avoid financial death for the next 10 years. Because its expensive to let a car sit around in a spacious lot apparently…. Smfh, these companies are so predatory. If you ever find yourself in a bad situation with a car you dont know what to do with sitting in one of these tow lots. Pick it up and literally drop it off one block away. Its better than leaving it in a predatory price gouged tow lot. These people are unbelievable

Only positive things to say about George’s! We were stranded last night with a flat tire. We waited 3/4 hours for our insurances roadside assistance program to help us, but it seemed no one was coming. I decided to call a local place, around 10:30 PM and they picked up instantly. They dispatched Chris to our location and he was there within 30 minutes. He was quick, efficient and extremely helpful. He was also able to back up into our skinny little driveway like a champ. The price for the tow was certainly reasonable as well. He gave us a great recommendation for Hartford Tire and they were able to have me repaired and back on the road in less than 24 hours. I can’t thank Chris enough! I definitely recommend George’s Custom Towing.

This shop should be studied by scientists as an example of how NOT to run a business I brought my car here for custom work, and I swear on everything holy, I think these people performed some kind of dark ritual on it instead. My car went in for a simple job and came back looking like it survived a bar fight behind a Walmart. The paint? Patchy, lumpy, and somehow three different shades of “I give up.” It feels like they mixed the paint in a dirty cereal bowl. Parts of it were literally dripping. DRIPPING. My car looked like it was sweating. Inside the car, it smelled like someone microwaved fish in there. Why? What were they doing? Why does my dashboard smell like lunch break trauma? When I asked for an update, these people fed me more excuses than a cheating boyfriend. “We’re almost done.” “We’re missing a bolt.” “A dog ran through the shop.” “Our painter’s cousin borrowed the sprayer.” Every time I called, the lie got more creative. At one point I think they tried to blame Mercury being in retrograde. And the price they charged? Highway robbery. No — interstate, cross-country, ocean-to-ocean robbery. For this kind of work, they should be paying me for emotional damages, cosmetic damages, and whatever spiritual injuries my car suffered. If someone asked me whether to take their car here or throw it into a volcano, I’d say go with the volcano — at least the volcano won’t lie to you and pretend it’s doing “custom work.” This place is a menace to society. Avoid like it’s leaking radioactive sludge.
