Great idea well executed! This place is awesome for artists, makers, and crafters. If you paint, sew, draw, knit--create in some form--you can find good, used materials and tools to help you either get started or keep going. Lots of stock and great prices. Friendly, professional staff to assist. Definitely fun to visit... especially if you like to hunt for and snag cool things or useful items.

If you're into sew and do crafting, then Scrap B-more is the place to be. I came in on a day that they had a sale and I bought things like trim and fabric. Things that you need for a sewing project. I would have paid a fortune for in Joanns, but I find Scrap B-more a bit reasonable. A very nice and pleasant atmosphere.

I’ve been here a few times, once in their original location and this one when it opened almost ten years ago—and the staff have been very kind, if not more sweet and attentive to everyone who walked in! I’m a current art student and got so many of random materials and supplies for less than 30 bucks—so much cheaper than if I went to an art store! So many deals and niche materials available as well, would recommend to any crafty person who wants to save money, and good for people who need supplies. Also, I enjoyed their playlist. :)
