If I rate this place 0 stars, I would. This all started in January 2025. My husband works down the road from Firestone of Gautier, and wanted to support a local business, especially since it was convenient for him since he worked close. In January, his truck was having front-end problems, so he took his truck to them and said "fix everything on the front end that needs to be fixed". Steve told him upon pickup that these things were done - upper and lower control arms replaced, pittman arms replaced, tie rods replaced, rack and pinion replaced. Steve also suggested that all 4 tires needed to be replaced for a better ride. My husband said that was fine, so all 4 tires were replaced as well. One month later, the front right tire was pulling hard, so my husband and I got under the truck to look at it. That's when we noticed the bolt from the control arm had backed almost completely out. We called Firestone the next morning and asked if they would warranty their work. They said yes, so the truck was brought back to them that morning. They allegedly did some work that day, and my husband brought the truck home that evening. Another month later, my husband calls me and says "it feels like the whole front end is about to fall out of this truck". He stops to get out of the truck to look and sees that both front tires were kicked out at a 45 degree angle. My husband called Firestone, angry this time, and brought the truck back to them a third time in less than 3 months. Steve told my husband that the truck needed a long list of parts and fixes (all of these issues were all allegedly done in January when the front end was "fixed"). While this is all going on, these brand-new tires (that were purchased in January) are being worn down rapidly, and Steve suggests yet again that my husband needs new tires. When Steve tells my husband that Firestone will not cover the cost of these repairs (that were allegedly done 2 months prior) we pick up the truck from Firestone without them doing any work. Upon picking up the truck, Firestone is not willing to provide any form of receipt for the work that had previously been done. Fast forward, my husband has some vacation time at work, so he decides to take his truck to another mechanic. This mechanic promptly puts my husband's truck on a lift, looks under it, and says he sees no evidence that any front-end work had been done at all. My husband goes back to Firestone (trying to give them the benefit of the doubt) and Steve insists that "we don't do business like that" "we have a reputation to uphold" blah blah blah, but still continues to let my husband know that if he put it back in their shop for front-end work, Firestone would not cover the cost of that. All of this to say, DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE, AND DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS PLACE FOR ANY MECHANIC WORK WHATSOEVER. I wouldn't trust them to put air in my tires. They are lucky we aren't threatening legal action, but how could we? We don't have any receipts for the work they supposedly did to the truck in the first place. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!

The big guy is very dishonest, doesn’t give any sort of itemized receipt and says he does work that he doesn’t actually do. I believe he is the one that owns this store. This is NOT a Firestone, they just pay to use their products. Overall, they do very subpar work, if they even do what they say they are. One guy who works here is fine but there’s no way to know if he will be the one working on your car and even if he is, the big guy will jack up costs and lie to you about what was done. Honest mechanics can be hard to find and these are some of the most dishonest ppl out here.

What a horrible unprofessional place of business! First they were supposed to order my tires and messed that up! Did not even call to let me know! I had to call them after hours of having my vehicle! I had to return it at a later time to get them installed!! Then when I did they did not call to let me know my vehicle was ready! I called and they informed me then it was ready! I informed them I was in my way to pick up my car and apparently they closed early and I'm stuck without my car another day!! They knew I was on my way and apparently they closed early and I was not able to get my car!! I called Firestone and was informed that they are NOT A FIRESTONE!!!
