They will give you lowest dollar they can for your scrap. For $1,260 lb I just got $0.80 per pound copper because I had about 10 lb of scrap steel in it. The majority of it should have been over $2 a pound.

It's a scrap yard, , but efficient, pull on to the scales, get unloaded, the cashier pays you out according to spot prices as far as I know. But I've been told other yards pay higher. But I've been going here for years and the staff is really quite helpful. I make a lot of art out of junk and they will save stuff for me, so you do get better personal attention
