I had an awful experience today with D&S. I own a company in Nunavut and we tried to place a small order to our store here in the north. I've never been spoken to so rudely as Kristy did today. Here's what happened: 1) We emailed ahead, asking if we could provide our own shipping labels (shipping up north can be a bit tricky). 2) We were told that's fine, and we placed the web order. 3) Our online staff (he works in Colombia, has an accent) called and asked to provide the shipping labels. 4) Our order was cancelled, we were not notified. After that, I called back today to try and find out what happened. I was told we failed due diligence due to a mismatch between the shipping address and billing address on the card. No worries, I'm happy to provide any further info as needed. I was basically hung up on, and called a scammer to my face. We have a reputable business and need some basic common parts for our vending machine. I tried to place a new order, but they instantly cancelled it, making up a story about how the ZIP code does not match the bank. The agent raised her voice at me. I believe this company probably gets a lot of people trying to scam them, but we certainly weren't one of them. I'm more than happy to remove this review if one of the higher ups is willing to contact me and have a reasonable conversation so I can provide the adequate proof that we are not scammers but normal Canadians trying to place a simple order.

Called up DSV Vending, had a question on a board, Circuit talk, tech stuff — thought I’d find a little support. Trying to ask a question, barely got a word out, Dude kept cutting me off like he’s running a timeout. Every sentence interrupted, couldn’t finish my line, If customer service is a skill… this guy missed it by a mile. I’m talking circuit boards, manufacturers, trying to learn, But patience wasn’t in the building — guess that bridge is burned. Real talk riddle for whoever runs the show: If the phone guy’s rude… where’s the business gonna go? Treat people like trash, cut them off mid-flow, That’s the fastest way to lose customers you’ll never know. So here’s my answer if you’re asking for a review: If you like being interrupted — DSV’s the spot for you. But if you want respect when you call for some help, Take your business somewhere else.

I have a very old machine that I had very little info on. I called D&S and received help immediately with no wait time. A guy named Marko (I think from the parts centre) went above and beyond in helping me figure out my issue and troubleshooting a fix for it. Best customer service I’ve received in a long time and felt genuinely cared for! Earth needs more people like Marko!
