I'd like to start off by saying that I've been using this place through the ownership changes(around 40 years). Here's why I'm rating this a 2 stars(which if there wasn't a history it would be one star). I take in a small load of copper and yellow brass. I put the yellow brass on first and the scale attendant says I don't know what this and pulls out a piece of patina brass so it's greenish blue, I say it's brass so he hits it with the angle grinder which clearly shows itself as brass. He says I gotta take it to the office. I know for a fact it's high purity because it came from a local foundry that my great uncles company used to clear out their sand. He comes back and says we're not taking it. I say why I've been selling it here since I was 8 years old, he says no you haven't I replied oh but I have and you've worked here how long 6 months so you know, then he says we don't take burnt metals I say and he replied my boss says it looks burnt and I say it wasn't burnt it was smelted in a foundry just like every cast metal. So I tell him to pull the brass and I'll sell that high purity brass to another yard. He gives me my bucket back with at least 4lbs of keys and tried to tell me keys aren't brass(these were older keys that were actually the color of brass). Sorry so long but why would anyone who has not a clue about metals be working in a recycling center when it's your job to know what metals your buying from customers, and argue with someone about what they brought in.

Went to PSC Metals at the Wooster yard today for the very first time. Everyone was so helpful. Autumn in the cashier's office was kind and helpful. I had no idea where to go and she radioed the guy to help me, gave me clear instructions and was so nice. Jay- the gentleman that unloaded and weighed everything was awesome. Overall top notch experience I will definitely go back.
