I didn't go to the store in person but I did need a difficult to find part that nobody seemed to have in stock (tensioner pulley, not the entire tensioner as it was only the pulley that was needed) but, unfortunately, they didn't have it in stock just like the other parts stores I called. However, the person I spoke to on the phone was extremely polite, courteous, friendly, and helpful. One thing that absolutely makes my blood boil is parts store counter clerks having that "superiority complex", that attitude that makes you feel like an imbecile if you call a part a different name than what the technical part name may be or when they try telling you that you need a different part other than the one you went in for when they haven't even spent ½ second inspecting and diagnosing the problem, let alone even seeing your car or truck, basically pretending they're ASE certified Master Technicians who magically don't need to use even one of their five senses to diagnose a vehicle...just by the very fact that they are behind a parts counter they know exactly what the issue is without even seeing or hearing your vehicle and make you feel about as small and worthless as a flea because you may have mispronounced the name of a part or chosen not to go with his diagnosis of your vehicle thereby making you a complete idiot because "EVERYBODY knows, and it's just plain 'common sense' that when "X" happens it's because the worm gear is shot" type of thing...I'm sure ANYONE who's done significant work on their own vehicles has had this experience of a parts clerk treating them like they're a complete mindless moron because they didn't know the exact name of the part they needed or went into the store with the diagnosis of the problem but the "ASE certified Master Technician" behind the counter disagreed and you chose to not take said "Master Technician's" diagnosis of the problem and stuck with your or your mechanic's diagnosis instead. Not here! Very courteous, polite, friendly, and helpful over the phone and seemed to genuinely want to help get my truck back on the road but couldn't because they didn't have the part (to be fair, NOBODY in Middlefield did...there was only ONE PLACE within 50 miles that had it in stock and it was in Chardon, but out of fairness I won't mention which store it was). I'll definitely be back to NAPA when I need another part, which at the current rate of things will be any minute now. Thanks for the professionalism and courtesy, and thank you for not automatically assuming that a customer walking into or calling your store is an imbecile who has no clue what he/she is talking about.

tl;dr The nastiest and least helpful store staff I have ever interacted with. I went in, on asking the cashier for a product to fix an issue with my turn signal he told me to take my car to the garage. Didn’t ask for any details, to take a look at it, anything, it could have been a burnt out light for all he knew. Aside from that, he was very snippy about me entering the store 8 minutes before it opened (the door was unlocked and I saw someone else walk in, I assumed it was open).

Helpful and fair prices. Better service than at Advanced Auto. Their hours make it difficult for most people who work to get there. I usually end up at O'Reilly Autoparts.
