I bought a used car from Kohmann Motors at the end of July 2024 after being assured it was in excellent condition with no issues. I understand there’s always some risk when buying a used car, but they assured me this vehicle was in good condition and thoroughly inspected. Unfortunately, that couldn’t have been further from the truth. Here’s a list of the issues I’ve faced so far: 1.) The serpentine belt fell off causing me to lose power steering and engine over heating. had to have it towed back home. 2.) The valve cover gasket was leaking oil all over the engine. 3.) The fuel filler neck was rusted out and leaking fuel. 4.) The thermostat was bad. 5.) The differential seal was leaking. 6.) The motor mount cross member was completely rusted out. 7.) The hitch receiver was so rusted it was spray-painted black to hide the damage. I had to cut it off because it was unsafe to leave on the vehicle. 8.) The ABS and traction control lights came on. 9.) Now, it’s also making a grinding noise in the front end. and i will need to have it checked out again! I’m not a mechanic, so I relied on the dealership’s word and expertise when they claimed the car was in good shape. Instead, I’ve been stuck with a vehicle that’s unsafe and riddled with problems. I Didn't even get a great deal on the car. I paid a good amount for it because it was a great looking vehicle and they assured me it was in great condition. These aren’t all minor fixes—they’re significant safety issues that should have been disclosed or addressed before selling the car. It’s clear this dealership either didn’t inspect the vehicle or knowingly hid these problems to make a quick sale. If you’re thinking about buying from them, don’t. Find a dealership that’s honest and actually cares about the quality of their vehicles and their customers’ safety.

Edit. I ran into a few problems a few weeks after the purchasing. I had sent a few emails only getting one response which was quite the let down. A further inspection of the vehicle dug up a few additional problems. I understand how the whole as is works however some of the attempted repairs made to the car were poor at best. Oh well you live and you learn. Worked with Jim on purchasing a Corvette they had. Jim was punctual and professional. I work in the auto industry and the rate they got me for a 2003 is unheard of. Quality place with great staff. I work for a high end luxury store and their staff was on point! No complaints here. The car itself is a peach for the price. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Huge thank you to you guys! It’s been a dream since I was a kid to own a corvette and I finally got to live that dream!

Went in for an oil change and they refilled my wiper fluid and performed a full inspection. Next, I had my front brakes replaced, and the owner Justin drove me to work and picked me up at the end of the day to make it easier on me. Fantastic service, reasonable price, and great people. I will be back for all my mechanic work in the future.
