I brought my Volkswagen Tiguan to Mr. Gurney at Island Woods Auto with the impression that I had severe engine damage, and may likely have to sell it to a salvage yard. After extensively researching the issue, he was able to diagnose the source of the problem, receive the necessary part, and install it, in time for me to be able to pick up the vehicle that same day before he closed. Now it runs better than it did before it broke down in the first place. The knowledge and professionalism really shine at a repair shop as well managed, and capable as this one. A+

Exhaust repair and coolant leak plus question of transmission leak was done quickly and reasonably. I recommend Mike's work and will return.

I recently brought my 1989 Toyota Camry AllTrac LE to this shop by a recommendation from a friend, they worked with me every step of the way making sure I was well informed with everything that was going on with my car. When I had an issue with my car after bringing it to them the first time (issue was not caused by any of the work they had done) they were quick to diagnose the issue and were able to fix it and get it back on the road for me. Very fair on pricing as well, will definitely return for any work I need in the future.
