The people managing and running this transfer station are great...friendly and helpful. Went to drop a ton of cardboard boxes and styrofoam. You follow the blue line (for recycling) and park right next to the big containers. There are specific containers for clothes/textiles, cardboard boxes, styrofoam, large and small appliances etc. No $$ for dropping off recycling materials.

The Shoreline Recycling And Transfer Station is one of the best kept secrets in King County. They have phenomenally good recycling capabilities, including refrigerators, mattresses, plastics, and Styrofoam.
