Well, I bought what I thought was a good used truck a couple of months ago. I asked the salesman if there were any major issues and he assured me the mechanic looked it over and it was good to go. Now a little over a month later I took it to the dealer in my town to get a new key fob programmed and they did an inspection and told me the rear main seal and the oil pan gasket are both leaking. They said it looks like it's been leaking for a while. The estimate is over $4500. Had I know this when I bought it I could have negotiated it into the price or just kept looking. Now I'm stuck with this expensive repair and I'm not happy. I realize used vehicles have issues. I just wish he was honest and told me before I bought when I asked about any issues. Lesson learned.
