Didn't want to have to take it here, but due to Robert blocking me on Facebook I am. I'm sure they do great repairs, but one of the workers/owners decided to deal a used transmission to me. Stating it was "ready to go, 90k miles, ready to drop in"(with screenshots). Turns one of the main shaft bearings are bad and it makes a grinding noise in all gears. All be it, this was a FB marketplace deal. That being said, I understand it's a "As-is" purchase. And honestly I wasn't mad till I learned I and my wife where both blocked by Robert on Facebook. Luckily enough I remembered seeing this is where he worked on his FB profile. Just sucks, seemed like a honest guy. And it could have been a honest mistake. I mean how could he have know it was bad? That's what I thought till I saw he blocked me.

This business is by far the best hands down! Did I mention veteran owned and operated? Yes it is, my experience from beginning to finish was excellent. They do have a small waiting area should you want to wait for your vehicle to be serviced, reading material should you want to read or thumb through. Me, I talked the entire time I was there lol. The young men that run it are super nice and respectful! Cannot get that anywhere else or much less a return phone call from dealerships. This is definitely my place bow for any work to be done on my vehicles. I intend to spread the word. Give them a call, they are very knowledgeable and they have reasonable prices. I will be a return customer. Thanks for changing my serpentine belt. Thanks Car Clinic

I normally don’t leave reviews (especially negative ones), but my experience with The Car Clinic was frustrating enough that I feel people should know what to expect. I brought my truck in for a coolant leak and popping sound coming from the front. They quoted me over $1,300 for repairs (wheel bearing + coolant housing). I later checked the part prices myself, and they were charging at least $300 more than any part listed online or in store — in some cases almost double what the same OEM or aftermarket parts actually cost online. They also quoted me nearly $1,200 for a set of tires that every other shop in town had priced at $600–$650 installed. That’s a markup of around $690, which was a blatant overcharging. The biggest issue, though, is that they didn’t actually resolve the coolant leak or the popping sound. They assured me it was fixed, but days later I was still losing coolant. When I brought it back, they told me the bleeder screw was broken — something only they had touched during the original repair — and then quoted me another $392 to fix it. At that point, I had already spent well over a thousand dollars there and was left with the same coolant issue and popping sounds I started with. Between the inflated part costs, the tire quote that was nearly double anyone else in town, and the attempt to charge me again for an issue they likely caused, I can’t recommend this shop. I left feeling like I spent a lot of money for work that wasn’t done right and with very little trust in their honesty or skillset. If you’re considering bringing your car here, I’d strongly recommend you get a second opinion and compare quotes with other shops before agreeing to any repairs.
