AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I was nieve enough to go to Alaska Auto without checking the reviews first because it was down the street. I purchased $1,500+ worth of wheels, rotors, brake pads, caliper covers, wheel spacers and catback exhaust to have installed. I was quoted 1-2 days and didnt get my car back for over 5. Not 36 hours after picking up the car, and the first drive (only 1/4 mi. from my driveway) my entire wheel FELL OFF. They broke off 3/5 wheel studs on my front driver side wheel causing the wheel to disconnect and my entire car dropped. I now have almost $2k worth of fender and door damage. Despite having "wheels, brakes, exhausts..." on their signage - they had NO IDEA what wheel spacers or hubcentric rings were. They broke my valve stems and had to cut my OEM lug nuts in half after siezing them because they put the WRONG LUGS ON THE WRONG STUDS even though I dropped them off in ziplock bags LABELED - causing me to uber 5 different times to the auto shop and back. After finally getting my car back - they tried charging me more than DOUBLE what was quoted. I thought the worst was over - when a week later I realized they gave my car back MISSING one of my matching 4 goodyear tires. When transferring over my tires to new wheels they put on a USED Pirelli tire. When I brought it up to them the owner "Alaska" denied it being possible and said "we have everything recorded - you can come anytime to watch it". I showed up 5 times in (1) week and the owner hid from me every time. Tried texting multiple days to get a time locked down to come watch the footage - nope - avoided. I gave him photos of my car with all 4 matching goodyear tires before droppig it off, and a photo of my car AT their shop before I ever took it home (took pictures one of the many times I had to uber back and forth) with a clear photo of the wrong tire on the car. Literal proof and they want to deny it's even possible they messed up. The people working there have NO idea what they're doing. They even managed to mess up the exhaust install by not welding ANY OF IT TOGETHER. I did a smoke test and there is so much airflow - when I accelerate it sounds like I don't even have an exhaust on. I will be taking them to court, have already filed a police report with my 25+ photos and videos of evidence, filing with the attorney general and BBB, and having a demand letter delivered. Even the few people I ran into at their shop getting work done were all pissed and experiencing problems of their own with the work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They should be put out of business.

one of the mechanics has had my car for over a week and won't return it. Keeps saying he's on other jobs and will deliver it asap. Worst experience! I am filing a compliant with the police to get my car returned.
