Short trails but nice nature center. First time here with my kids. We love reptile here. They are so cute and bunches of kids activities to do. Great experience, acknowledge staff, clean environment. When I walk on the trail next to the pond, the little beaver came out and pass us . Super close!!! What a great experience!!!

Small nature center with turtles, frogs, toads, hissing cockroaches, stick bugs and sometimes a bee hive (not today). We saw one of the cockroaches molt, which was very cool! Playground and walking trails nearby. You can check out the old lime kilns too.

There was a lot to see, but without a proper guide, the experience lacked depth and engagement. It’s important to note that school field trips often take place during the week, which can impact the overall atmosphere—exercise caution if visiting at that time. I recommend planning your visit on a weekend for a more enjoyable and immersive experience. That said, the grounds themselves were absolutely beautiful and well-maintained.
