Hilltop Collision has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. My father was already in a very stressful situation. He had to move under tight time constraints. After finally finding him a new place to live and moving all of his belongings, he made one last stop at a grocery store in Livermore Falls. When he came out, he discovered his car had been stolen. Shortly after, we were informed that the vehicle had been involved in a hit and run accident and was later recovered by Hilltop Collision two days later. My father had several personal belongings in the car, including mail, family photos, his clothes, and other essential items. Despite this, Hilltop Collision refused to let us retrieve any of his personal belongings even after we drove over two hours to the facility. We offered to sign over the title to the car in exchange for just a few of those personal items: license plates, insurance documents, photos, and clothing. Under Maine state law (Title 29A Sections 1851 and 1854), vehicle owners are legally entitled to recover personal property from a towed or impounded vehicle. Regardless, the staff at Hilltop Collision refused. The woman we dealt with was not only unhelpful but also rude, condescending, and even laughed at us. That type of treatment is disgraceful, especially given the hardship my father has been going through. He has had one of the hardest weeks of his life, and having his car stolen was bad enough, but to then be denied access to his own belongings by this company was just inhumane. I strongly advise against doing business with Hilltop Collision. This experience was horrendous from start to finish.

I had a great experience! Never had to wait for someone to pick up the phone always was polite! No extra fees after the quote! I was shocked when I picked up my car and it was deep cleaned on the inside too! My car looks brand new!
