“Went there a couple days ago because I had a tire changing machine that I acquired from cleaning up houses after the estate sale is over. I went there specifically because the gentleman who passed seemed to have a connection to this business through the building of hot rods and actually had a plaque like the owner of this establishment had and was a member of. Another reason was this was where I worked for the first time sweeping the parkingot and where my father worked for over 30 years and has since passed away. I walked in and spoke to the son of the owner Larry Ready Jr and explained I had a machine for mounting and dismounting tires and why I thought of them and why I thought they might want to have it. Before I could finish speaking Mr Ready cut me off saying well I don't know what you have and how much you want for it and I don't make deals without seeing the product... Frowning the whole time. I said it definitely works and I'll go get my phone and show you some pictures. As I walked out to get my phone he said "I also have a machine that works". I kept walking, jumped into my truck and left. Like I said my father worked under the Scortching heat and through rainy seasons for over 30 years in this establishment. And I swept their parking lot while in jr high. We also rented the house nest to this establishment from the owner for some years. And that's the kind of welcome I get for thinking about them and what I thought was a piece of history that connected them to a gentleman in their craft.”
