The guys didn't talk much. More hand motioning, got rid of wrecked truck for me. Bout $100 a ton I think. Cleanest metal recycling ♻️ place I've been to. All the area was paved.

We have patronized Schnitzer Steel for several years recycling old Restaurant Equipments. 3 months ago ,I dropped off our old ATM & I asked the attendant how much he thinks I can get for it he said $3 so I decided to donate it & left. On May 14th I dropped off one of 3 Impinger Pizza Machines & got a $20 check. On May 21st ( exactly one week later ) I dropped of 2 Impinger Machines with a heavy Metal Frame that separated o two machines & got $20 for them. I went back less than an hour later after looking at the check to tell the guy who issues checks & he said they weighed the same, he advised me to look & compare the May 14th check and see if the weights are different …today Monday I took both checks with the stubs to ask him to explain the discrepancy. His words were “ this is a state regulated Weigh system I cannot manipulate “ the weights & would not make it right. I am disappointed ( not for the money ) that he insisted the weights of IMPINGER MACHINES weigh the same as One Impinger .I wish them all the best ,but something doesn’t make sense at all…. Love & Peace.

Was told a check payment would be there in 3-days, it has been 15 now and still no mail from them. It was also pretty confusing pulling in, didn't know where to go & they make you leave your kid in the car unattended when you finally figure out where to go/what to do. The guy who helped me was very friendly and the offered price was very considerate however the delay is upsetting.

I came in with a mixed load of everything imaginable from decades of commercial boats. My partner had passed before we could get this done; 1455# of metals I couldn't always identify & some motors/pumps/gurdies not broken down because I don't know how to do that. The staff were extremely patient, kind, and wonderfully helpful. They were aces in teaching me while we sorted the load, and making a bad year better. The price was exactly what my partner had estimated....We've always gone to Schnitzer's when we had a pile to get gone. Many thanks guys!

Not really sure what people expect to read about when reviewing a metal recycling center. I sold steel, aluminum and copper. Payment is made by check and through the USPS, so expect your payment in 3 to 7 business days. The employees were help and respectful.

So far haven't received payment, from scrape metal from almost two weeks ago. I was told it would only be a "couple of days". Tomorrow will be almost 10 business days. I know without a doubt it wasn't "stolen," so what the heck is taking so long.

Extremely unprofessional. The guy in the check office is totally rude. I unloaded my shredder then weighd in again. I sat on the scale for 30+ minutes before getting weighd the second time. I finally got sent through by someone in the main office to go unload my non ferrous. I unloaded non ferrous and went in to turn in my slip. The guy in the office screamed at me for not scaling in. I explained to him that the main office already weighed me. He basically told me thats not true to go weigh in again. I told him hes frigin wrong and he needs to do his job! The guy realized he was wrong ..then he and yelled at me again to adjust my mask. Didnt even apologize. Today I took in the other half of an RV I been working on for 2 mths scrapping. I have a title. I guess i need a to match my title to the already gone frame i scrapped a month ago to them. . Now theres a law you cant scrap frames without the serial number on the front frame and have a matching title? Kinda hard to provide that when they already got the front end it a month ago. Now im stuck with the rest of the chasis and no 9nevwill take it. There web site says nothing about it and they were jerks again! Im done! They used to be my favorite yard. Never again.

Great place to take a truck load of scrap metal and get some money and learn the weight of your vehicle. They printed out a check for me right away after showing them my I.D. I didn't see any Metal Heads.

Inconvenient awkward setup, always unpleasant employees continuously trying to low grade properly sorted non ferrous material. These guys will do EVERYTHING possible to get you to sell your metal for tin prices. In practice they do not want you to know what they are paying for a particular metal until after they have accepted it, thrown in tin a bin where it is irretrievable if you don't agree on the price they are willing to pay for it. If you ask for a price you will be met with either incompetence or a "we don't know" answer. Only go here if you like it in the arse.

Was told that they were open and operating. I send drivers down from Salem Oregon. Driver was told that gates were orders closed. I had checked by phone twice that they were open. Driver asked them if there was a place we could put the cars to weigh in and return later to weigh in, he was told no. I would caution all business and dismantles to use caution going to this location.

The process has a few steps and the folks are somewhat helpful. A culture of grumpiness abounds. But they do take your stuff and give you money or a check for non-ferrous metals.

Easy and quick, people offered to help if we needed it. Was s little disappointed with how much we got, but they paid us to get rid of stuff that the dump would have charged us money to dispose of so we can't complain.

We bring a truck full of metal barrels to scrap every so often. Not a lot of words used but enough hand motions to let you know what needs to happen.

Great place to recycle your metal, car batteries and ballast. They went out of their way to make sure that I recycled in the places that would pay me the most. Great people!

This place sucks! Rude and condescending. They act like you don't know aluminum from a rock and won't give you prices. They send you to an office or dock while they unload and I have never been able to watch them weigh the stuff. Never will go there again. I'd rather bury the junk in the yard

Very simple process of driving in on the scale, go to the correct place to dump, on scale again, and then get money. Genius idea to have that place.
