    I wanted to thank both Bob and Joe for taking care of the passenger front door for my wifes 2021 Toyota Venza. I drove all the way from central Ohio to get this door. The cleanliness and top notch customer service was awesome. The door was a perfect match and fit perfectly.

    I ordered a glass they canceled and never told me why. Money was refunded. I’ve written them asking for further help… nothing. Sad. I’m driving up there from Louisiana this week. I hope they are alive over there…

    So glad this is in the area. Huge amount of vehicles and we were lucky to get something for our “newer” vehicle that was readily in stock. Bob was able to hold the part for me and get me in and out. Would have waiting 3 days at the dealer and spend 4 times as much.

    Bob is a liar, we purchased an engine for a 21 Hyundai Kona with 21,532 miles , advertised as "runs great ". Right after start up the oil light was on and it had a deafinig rod knock. I called Bob immediately and told him the engine was junk, Bob said in a few days I will have you another one with similar mileage, after a few days of getting the run around and Bob avoiding my phone calls he finally said your engine will be there tomorrow. The Veldman truck arrived this morning at 10 with the replacement engine, the driver opened the back door of the delivery vehicle and I said Hold on, after seeing an oily engine, how many miles are on that engine, the driver didn't know, so I call Bob. Bob said 60,000 miles are on that engine, I said try again Bob, you left your stock number on that engine and it has 104,000 miles on it, nothing but crickets from Bob. An absolute horrible experience from a company and employee that could care less about the customer ,they just want your money and they don't care how they get it. Never again!!!!!

    Needed a part I couldn't find anywhere. The dealership wouldn't sell me the part alone and they requested $200 for a diagnostic and $2k to repair the part. I found Veldman's online, gave them a call and they were able to work with me and get the part shipped to me all the way up to Canada! Great customer service and communication. Got the part quickly and was able to fix my car myself saving me over $1800. Thanks again guys

    They sold 2 parts to me that were off the wrong vehicle and did not want to return. Took forever to get a hold of someone just to reject me. No explanation on why they chose to go with an older vehicle and label the parts tag a year newer. I don’t want to tell the entire long story but the outcome is they got my money and the parts are useless for my car. Edit to my review above. Bob reached out to me and made things right after I explained my story to him. Thank you for your understanding, Bob.

    Great service - Wayne and Bobby we very professional and attentive in addressing my concerns. I picked up some parts that are well priced and in great condition, plus had some parts shipped to me. A small problem with shipping, but did not delay my project. Well organized shop! Bobby drove me back to the unit being pulled (in back of yard) and we reviewed several parts before pulling them. I drove 40+ miles, been dealing with Veldman's for many years - great shop and always very helpful. On one occasion in the past, I returned a gas-tank 3 times because my truck is not a standard build - had to refit a gas tank from a different model year to make it work... Veldman's was always helpful and professional. Great Job Guys!

    I found a passenger side mirror for my car here in perfect condition cheaper than damaged ones eBay, they could ship to home but I went to pick it up instead. I walk in and the place is pretty big compared to what I'm used to so I stood there puzzled for a second. After 30 seconds of standing there a man in probably his 80s walks up to me and says "don't be so bashful, come right over here" and directed me to a clerk that was very direct and got me my order very quickly. Great service, great prices. Perfect.

    Veldman's is better run than every salvage yard in the Chicagoland area. They have more parts available for more vehicles and their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful (although they are always very busy). The parts lobby is exceptionally clean, especially for a used parts place.

    Had a recent dealing with those guys and unfortunately it wasn't handled professionally. Bought 4 items from their ebay store and things went silent. No replays to messages and when I called I was transferred to the eBay guy I charged with no luck but voice mail. In fact the last call the person on the phone told me the eBay person right here but once again voice mail. Last when I left voice mail to ask for the tracking number then sent me a message back saying there are damage to the Items. ALL OF THEM. Lol. Which a man in a flying horse can see what's happening and a refund was issued. I would be careful dealing with them online. Maybe in person better since I also check the feedback on this matter. It seems to be the same as my issue. If it's too good they keep it.

    I called Veldman's and asked for a specific part for my vehicle. They put me on a quick hold, came back to the phone and stated they had the part available for pickup. I thanked them and informed them that I was driving from Fort Wayne and would be there in a couple of hours. I took the two hour drive to Southbend and so it begins. First off, the staff was anything but friendly. I walked in and stood in the lobby for a good five minutes before any of the staff said anything to me. I finally got to a guy that could assist me and he asked me to hold on while he proceeded to take a very lengthy phone call. I found this very rude and unprofessional. He finally gets to me. I informed him that I just drove from Fort Wayne to pick up a part. Long story short, I was informed that they did not have the part. I was furious to say the least. To make matters worse the guy didn't even seem apologetic about the situation and he's the one that I spoke with when I called from Fort Wayne. I received a quick " I apologize." He didn't even try to call around to locate the part knowing dang well that I wasn't from Southbend. I took it upon myself to drive around a bit, found another shop and they were fantastic AND had the part I was looking for. If you do decide to visit Veldman's especially coming from a distance I would ask that they physically go out to make sure the part is on their lot. I would not recommend this place. Very poor customer service.

    On the outside of town! Service was very good. Very clean and picked up on the inside! I was helped right away as well! And they brought the part out to my car!

    I found this auto parts company through an ebay search. The part I was ordering was far cheaper than other dealers for the same part. I also hadn't ordered from ebay in a while and though I tried to update my address in the middle of the order, ebay still defaulted to my old address. After a couple calls and an email to confirm my information, the staff at Veldman's were able to override ebay's auto shipment and rerouted it to my correct address for me. The staff that I spoke to were all extremely friendly and helpful. Will order from them again in a heartbeat! Thanks!

    I placed my order on October third received October 8th even called them to make sure my part would fit because I’m a women and I just order it and they were very fast knowledgeable and sufficient I most definitely would order from them again plus this part was sold out every where even the dealer thanks you guys

    Never had a problem ordering parts before with you folks. But today I spoke with Larry and he was beyond rude. I was very respectful to him the whole time, I don’t understand why so much attitude was given to me? I had to cancel my order because I was very disappointed. I hope customer service gets better.

    Purchased a used transmission from them , had it dropped off at my shop at no charge. Price was as discussed over the phone and Unit matched description plus arrived completelly ready for installation without a core hassle! Could not be happier with service in every way and will definatelly refer to all my friends and use them for all my used part needs. Glad there are businesses like this still around !

    Called regarding some parts and they told me that the parts were in good shape, but when i went there after driving for four(4) hours parts turned out to be damaged. spoke to the salesperson and he said that he doesn't care it's either i take it broken or not. I clearly explained to him that i drove 4 hours but he said he doesn't care, i asked that i speak to the manager regarding that matter and the manager told me same as his employee. The worst experience ever, I would not suggest anyone to buy anything from these people.

    They are not sincere with the delivery timeline, I called to complain, the representative bang the phone on me. If the delivery time matters to you , you better look somewhere else or else you will be disappointed. Very sad experience.

    Made a call to request a part lookup and the person that answered the phone asked me to switch off my hands-free speaker phone and take the phone into my hand. I said wouldn't it just be easier for me to just call another company that'll actually talk to me rather than have special request. He then hung up on me. Apparently it's not safe to use your speaker phone and hands-free device in your vehicle. He must have understood what I was saying or he wouldn't have asked me to switch off first. I guess they don't want to sell anything I'll go elsewhere for my parts.

    Needed a spare tire for my just purchased 2012 Buick Lacrosse. (original buyer did not spring for a spare tire. Who does that?) Found it online at Veldman's website. I called in the order. Part arrived at my door three states away just 23 hours after I placed the order. Great to do business this way.

    Update: Management contacted me as soon as they received my letter and were happy to assist me in refunding the restocking fee. I was very pleased with their promptness and willingness to straighten things out. I can say, that despite this hiccup I would go back if they had a part I needed. Old review: The part I purchased proved to have more damage than thought rendering it unusable and therefore defective. A surly desk agent by the name of Tim insulted me telling me that I was wrong and Veldman's does not make mistakes. Tim would not honor the warranty and I was forced to pay a restocking fee for a damaged part. If the manager gets in contact with me like I've requested I might be inclined to improve this score. As of now, I can't recommend this place.

    Recently went searching for a replacement door mirror for my Explorer. Veldman's had one in the same color to match my vehicle. Sean was very helpful and arranged prompt removal and shipping. The item was very well packed and arrived in excellent condition. A first class business and excellent to deal with. They have won my future business!

    LAZY LAZY LAZY They may be good in person do not even attempt to deal with them online or over ebay. They are the laziest sales staff I have dealt with. Unwilling to do anything to actually make a sale. Just shortly worded responses and no help at all. I am happy its not my business because I would terminate all of them.
