Never before in my life have I seen a sales team so happy and tickled with themselves to blatantly take advantage of a disabled person. I watched a man attempting to purchase a back window for his trailblazer EXT. They sold him a window for a trailblazer knowing it would not fit. Told him that he did not want the extended warranty because it came with a 30 day warranty and that it was a waste of money. They then refused to exchange the window for the correct one and forced the disabled gentleman to purchase the correct window while literally laughing in his face the entire time telling him "the police are in our pocket, there's nothing you can do, it's as is sales, so buy the new one or leave" while insulting his intelligence. This is blatant robbery, predatory sales practices and should be condemned by all patrons. There are plenty of options rather than to be ripped off by LKQ to support their employees drug habits.

This place is a joke and defrauded customers daily. I witnessed them mislead a disabled man into buying the wrong part, just to 20 minutes later charge him a second time for the correct part and try to blame him for LKQ ripping him off over $100! Pathetic! I won't be doing any business with LKQ ever again as eBay will gladly ship me parts for free and will return parts that don't fit for free as well. So will Amazon. I recommend you spend your money with a company that doesn't support Blackrock tactics of harming the ignorant for profits!

This place uses predatory sales practices to mislead customers with both online and in store advertising. Go to Paul's auto or any other salvage yard that actually respects customers and doesn't use the money to support local narcotics dealers like the ones that currently manage the store. They will lie and mislead you into buying the wrong parts of which they will not exchange on the spot. We recommend that everyone that's ever been ripped off file a consumer report with the Indiana attorney general's office. It's free and you could even get a reward if criminal charges are filed on employees.

Website doesn't have complete list of parts. I needed an ignition control module for a 2007 Pontiac grand prix and they don't have anything online other than an ignition switch. And don't call bc it just hangs up on you. LKQ should be investigated by the BBB. HORRIBLE SERVICE

Did an online quote to sell a car for scrap. Called the next day to try and set up a time to get it. My call went to a call center. He told me that they wont buy my car without the motor and transmission installed and that no junk yard in America would take my car without an engine in it. (I have the engine but it's pulled.) I then called another LOCAL yard who offered me $175 more that LKQ offered me and is gladly taking it without the engine in it. PLUS isn't deducting anything for the tow. Needless to say, always go LOCAL. I wont be doing business with a company that shipped their phone calls off to the middle east and walks back on themselves.

Anytime I try to call to price out parts it tells me to go online but their website doesn't price out the parts properly and when I do call it just hangs up on me it's impossible to get a hold of anybody

Better selections now! Nice people! Bilingual.

Had a great experience at this location. The cashiers are all very personable and helpful, the parts were easy to find, the yard was organized nicely. Parts are priced at a reasonable amount too. I had no problems here at all. Also make sure you let the cashiers know if you do not want the guarantee on the parts if you do not want to be charged extra, they will stamp "as-is" on the receipt and they will be non returnable if you do. For body panels and other little plastic parts this is fine. I would use the guarantee though if you are buying electrical parts or wires or engine parts just in case. A lot of these cars in the yard have been sitting 5-10 years before being scrapped.

I've never had a bad experience at this location. Having an older vehicle it's difficult to find parts most of the time having this place helps tremendously!
- AADRIAN HARBISON
I bought a rear end and paid a cash core charge of $100. I went to return the core and get my $100 . I was told they did not have the $100 to come back in a couple hours. What a joke. They had no problem taking my money. I will not buy from them again!

Welp I bought a used transmission from here just to find out the valve body was damaged from them punching a hole in the pan to drain the fluid. This is unacceptable and because I took off the guarantee.. I'm stuck with it. Now I have to go back to a scrap yard to get a valve body that shouldn't have been damaged in the first place. Everybody should have an automatic 30 day warranty for stuff like this, I shouldn't have to pay an extra $75 for that. You have lost me as a customer going forward. This place is a joke.

Just plain horrible The people are seemingly great(Just get mad when you don’t wanna buy a part they listed close to new price) But I can look past that. This place is surrounded by a 7000 V fence that you can accidentally fall into while trying to take parts off cars. They now sell guarantees on all their parts, which isn’t like how it used to be before,( Meaning if I buy it, it should have one for me to come back if it’s bad.) Nope if you get the guarantee taken off to save you a few Dollars, just now you can’t take it back if it didn’t fit properly. i’d also like to point out the guy in front of me got his box searched before he went in this place So they know what he came in with. No respect for humans… I didn’t have a bad experience with anybody there if that’s what anybody’s wondering, My experience Was with how they treated things.

Fast friendly customer service and clean yard to pick from

This u pull it yard is absolutely too expensive. I'm understanding to costs and profit but WOW REALLY,. OVERPRICED OVERPRICED OVERPRICED. JUST GO BUY BRAND NEW PARTS BEFORE COMING HERE. That automatic Warranty add on to parts is a financial gain scam. Especially when you are not previously asked to opt in or out of the shake down. The clerk doesn't even inform you that removing the warranty will lower the parts price even after you complain that the price is unreasonable and over priced..
- RRoberto C. Santos
Employees are very customer oriented. Yard is very organized and found most vehicles in their assigned lots. Found a dog house for my van but was not sure if it would fit. Prices are a little high but at least theu told me to keep receipt and have 90 days to return. wow! I love this place :)

I just called to try and sell my old car, Sally, the customer service individual answered the phone. All I wanted was a quote to sell and she wants my whole life story prior to giving a quote. When I asked her why was my address necessary for a quote, she started to mention distance and pick up pricing. Um, ma”am I just want a quote to sell nothing else. She sighed and went straight to ask me for the VIN number. I decided to end the call. Since when did getting a quote for a car to sell required logging my address? Yeah bye!

I regularly drive 40 miles each way to go to this location, but never again. Yesterday I went there trying to find some wiper arms that would work on an unusual car I'm building. After 2 hours of scrounging around the yard I found 4 that might have worked. The prices posted on LKQ's website was $8.53 a piece, but the girl at the counter tried to charge me $58.00 for the four. I told her that can't be right, but she just shrugged and threw the wiper arms in the return bin. Good luck getting ONE DOLLAR of scrap value out of that 1 pound of steel, and thanks for wasting my time and gas money.

Yard is great! Nice vehicle selection. Does get muddy frequently, so bring boots. Staff is nice and understanding. Only thing that I can't stand are the prices. All lKQ locations, not just this one. Unnecessary warranty and core fees. Lots of parts you can get for cheaper now brand new and have shipped to the house. And core fees like $8 for a Tailgate. I just spent $70 on a Tailgate and you want to charge another $8 on top or tell your customers to spend more gas come back with a Tailgate that you're about to sell to someone for $70. I guess the main thing please tell us the full listed price including fees and everything. Stop putting in hidden prices.

I've sold two old cars to LKQ over the years (the most recent experience being today). They gave me quotes over the phone both times, based on my honest descriptions of the cars. Both times, I received the exact amount they quoted me over the phone, so there was no attempt at "bait & switch" tactics. I've also visited LKQ for parts for other cars over the years to do my own repairs. They have a nice system to inventory what cars they have and what parts are still available. All of the staff have been very pleasant every time as well. If you're handy at all, you can save serious amounts of money getting your own parts this way. Going to the junkyard is also genuinely REALLY FUN! Bring your own tools, go to the yard, and yank the parts you need.
- CClaudio Escobar
1 star is too high! Yard itself is decent but the girl at the front desk is very unprofessional. Talking bad about other customers in front of us! Should drop the attitude as well. Not friendly at all!
- DDrake Hostetler
My review is not toward this specific LKQ, but to ALL OF THEM! why do some of them keep their cars on the lot for 60-90 days. Others only 30 days? Why can’t I call the yard and ask if the car I need is still on lot when it was on the website the day before and not now? “Yards don’t take incoming calls” dumb as can be. Do not try to call them for anything cause all you’ll get it the runaround.
- LLucia Bianchi
Pay very close attention to how you are rang up. You must SPECIFICALLY SAY NO WARRANTY, or they will take you to the cleaners! Some parts a warranty makes sense, but other parts it is grossly unnecessary, like plastic trim pieces etc. Do your homework, don't leave anything of value unattended. Bring a friend, and do not stay long, and always watch who is lurking around you.
- CCodak's Garage
So far the best junkyard I have ever been to! I was able to find some front seats for my PT Cruiser and side mirrors for my Concorde! All for a great price! Staff is really nice and helpful. I am definitely coming back and would definitely recommend others!

Very hard to contact I've tried to call my local store and get a 800 number that tells me to go online and look for parts and prices and then get hung up on what if you don't have the internet or a smartphone then you have to go down there to the store in person and ask I do not like that no one answers the phone
- CCalvin Thomas
The yard itself was organized which is why I go there. I don't mind paying the 3 bucks to get in. Now they automatically charge you for a 90 day warranty without asking if you want it or not.The stealing they don't want in they're yard they are doing it to you at the register. Not cool LKQ
- HHope Zeigler
The associates were very courteous. We did not go out on yard until 5:15 pm and the were very polite about the needs as well as the fact I was all the way in the backend of the yard at 6. The parts are abundant here.
- GGeorgia Barnes
I am so impressed with the organization of LKQ. It's been years since I've been to the salvage yard and I never rembered it being fun. Husband and I got out bright in early with tools and found everything (plus tries and rims) to fix his little beer can. We saved about 1.5k and we are thrilled. Thanks LKQ for running a tight ship!
- AAmir William Van der Vliet Oloomi
Great staff, fine organized service, and lots of fun picking many of the parts you need, and saving money here is like 1, 2, 3. Ofcourse taking parts off of cars yourself is difficult, yet you get it back by how much you save. They'll tell you right away if they have your part and where to go in their yard to dig for gold. Anyway recycling rocks! Stay green everyone!
- AAquafire Apparel
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE. They gave us a list of about 8 cars and only 2 were actually there and they were stripped completely. They also charged us 6$ to enter the facility and would not give a refund after we complained that the list was not accurate and the cars were not there. Most cars I saw were stripped down. They are crooks just taking our money. I would never go there again. I suggest that you don’t either.
- KKyle Dodge
Lkq is way too expensive as a whole now. But this yard in particular will nickel and dime you to death by charging premium for every little piece.
