I received first-class service and beautiful repair of my Kia Soul after I was hit by a deer. The manager handled the entire process with kindness, honesty and efficiency. He even personally touched up several scratches on my car that weren’t part of the damage and the final bill. Thank you, CarStar and Jim, for making a difficult and costly experience bearable and even pleasant.

I had an awful experience with Carstar. My car wasn’t drivable and the Carstar worker who was running everything refused to help me put a spare tire on my car to move it off the lot, but I have no idea how to put on the spare. After 30 minutes of trying to figure it out, the only good thing that came out of this experience was an employee helped me put the spare on, but while he was going to get the tools to do so, the one running everything saw that the employee was helping us and the manager was incredibly rude, saying they don’t have the capability (poor word choice) to put on my spare tire—but what he meant was it wasn’t his problem and I needed to figure it out on my own. I’m grateful for the one employee who helped me out of the kindness of his heart, but will never be going back and will never recommend Carstar to anyone because of how I was treated with the manager.

Rating them 3 stars...just about average. Positives -the representative called and updated me every step of the way -the representative was accomodating in when I could pick up and drop off my car - they said it would be a 30 day repair but it took 2 weeks - paint job was good and they washed and cleaned the car Negatives -they were very pricey and fixed our car with used parts (which that probably should have been mentioned from the beginning to set expectations) -the car door they repaired did not close effortlessly (seemed like it wasnt 100% aligned) - the side mirror they replaced did not have the same resolution as the other one (so in one cars appear closer than in the other) Their front desk service was very professional but the lack of attention to detail with the actual work done on the car left a bit to be desired.
