When a relative of mine’s car was booted for being in the wrong spot, he very rudely yelled at 16 year old girls making them ball their eyes out and cry. He proceeded to curse out the 16 year old male friend that was attempting to speak up for her friend, began to threaten him, and demanded $350 cash in order to remove the boot. He refused to provide any receipt of the transaction, took photos of the teenagers, threatened them, and essentially cursed out a group of teenagers for asking questions regarding the boot. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and made me sick to my stomach hearing about it. Never interact with this sick individual or his company of sketchy scammers!!!

I stupidly went out today. So when my car got stuck and the battery died, I was glad to find Fagans Towing. They towed my car to a nearby repair shop and drove me home.

Terrible experience. My car suddenly shut off while driving on Great Neck Road. I contacted my roadside assistance, who said the wait would be about 3 hours. While I waited, a police officer came by (since my car had to be temporarily moved to Overlook Ave), and was kind enough to arrange for a tow through Fagan Towing Inc.<br><br>When the Fagan tow truck arrived, I politely asked the driver how much it would cost to tow the car to my mechanic in Queens. He said he didn’t know, but immediately started loading the car anyway. After it was already on the truck, he said call this # to get the price and drove off. I called the # and the same guy answered and told me the price will be $500, and that due to traffic, the car couldn’t be delivered until the next day, with additional charges for overnight storage.<br><br>At this point, I asked him to just bring my car back to where it was picked up. He refused unless I paid $250. I ended up involving the police, and after explaining the situation, he finally returned the car — but only after I paid $220 in cash, which was all I had on me. I then had to wait again for another tow company.<br><br>Please demand a written estimate or receipt before they load your car onto the truck. If you don’t, you may get hit with surprise fees and pressured into paying unreasonable amounts.<br><br>Not transparent, not professional, and definitely not recommended.
