After taking my car to another garage for years, which I didn’t feel, I was getting the best service. Went to Marlins where they thoroughly check every part of your vehicle and let you know what needs to be repaired. There is no pressure getting it repaired they are just kind enough to let you know what they feel should be done to your vehicle. Great place great people will always go there.

I was purchasing a new “used” vehicle and needed to get a pre purchase inspection and they got me in the very next day. I was so pleased by their friendliness and honesty. Buddy, the owner thoroughly went over everything that was done. I couldn’t have been more satisfied. I give Marlin’s Auto five stars!!!

(Update to Marlins reply at end) Usually a great shop but the owner Marlin was very unhappy to fix an issue they caused. My caliper and brake hose were damaged during a courtesy inspection and caused my brake fluid to leak completely out the car. The brakes and calipers were previously newly installed. I asked him how he would like to make things right he offered to do the repair labor for free if I covered the parts. After repairing their mistake he was not happy with the solution He offered me and told me that I ruined the trust of the company. Bottom line, he didn't like being liable for his mistake or fixing his mistake. I do not trust a shop that can not stand behind their work or solutions to problems they cause. He asked me not to return which I don't care. I feel bad because most the guys at the shop are nice and very helpful. Buy you can not damage a car and not be held liable for returning the car the way I brought it in. They never told me they were going to take my brakes apart I didn't even bring the car in for brakes. The owner should have not offered me a deal if he didn't think it was fair. He choose his own solution and ruined a good relationship with a customer who had multiple cars with $1000s of dollars of repairs to be made which I planned on doing at the shop. His loss not mine. Never had this issue anywhere else. Make sure you are clear about what you want or what to expect when dealing with Marlin or he might try to rip you off or talk to you like your stupid. Update reply to Marlins And he just accused me of being aggressive which is completely false. I was very respectful and never raised my voice. I have a naturally deep voice and if you ask anyone in the shop I kept my composure the whole time. I even asked the owner what he thought would be a fair resolution to the matter. He choose to do the labor for free because he knew they made a mistake. The brakes were brand new and working. They did not leak before I brought the car to the shop. My parking spot was spotless now it's full of fluid that dropped out my brakes. Lying about my attitude and your service is wrong and shows you lack accountability. The mechanics are not the issue . It's the accountability of the owner. Before this situation I really liked the shop. I won't have a problem getting work done elsewhere. There are hundreds of shops to choose from.
