I went on a Saturday morning around 10:30am. You will be turning from the main drag at the light next to an Exxon, and the specific location is in the back parking lot of a SECU Credit Union. The parking lot area was clean and the receptacles were basically empty. There are informational posters on the bins that ask you to remove any tape from your styrofoam...and another that explains the different kinds of styrofoam (I hope you can read them in the photos.) I'm very glad this place exists!

So great to be able to collect from neighbors and donate regularly rather than seeing this stuff go to landfills and often oceans. Only wish there were more centers so more Marylanders would participate.

I have to qualify my review. I don't like EPS (aka expanded polystyrene foam, aka Styrofoam) and avoid it whenever possible. But sometimes you buy something and end up with unexpected foam packaging. What do you do with this generally hard-to-recycle material? Well, if you live near Crofton, MD, you bring it to the collection bins at the back of the parking lot of the SECU building day or night. Nice resource.
