I want to take a moment to recognize an associate Deshon Fauntroy at the Hanover MDV location whose level of professionalism, kindness, and knowledge truly stood out. In my past experiences, interactions at the MDV have often felt rushed, impersonal, and at times discouraging. This visit was a on phone visit was completely different — and that difference was entirely because of her. She was polite, patient, respectful, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. She went above and beyond what I expected, taking the time not only to assist me with my immediate needs but also to educate me thoroughly on my benefits as a 100% disabled veteran. Nothing was assumed, nothing was rushed, and every question I had was answered with clarity and care. What impressed me most was that she didn’t just process paperwork — she made sure I understood my benefits and felt supported. She was also the only one in the office as I called right at opening, she would put me on hold to answer the incoming calls, or the call prior to me and kept following up to let me know she was still there. That level of service is rare and deeply appreciated, especially for veterans who often have to navigate complex systems on their own. Her professionalism has made my day, and now I look forward to paying it forward to my customer as I am reminded that excellent customer service can make or break someone's day. Her professionalism, compassion, and willingness to help restored my confidence in the MDV experience. She is a true asset to your organization and deserves recognition for setting a standard of excellence in customer service.
