Today I scheduled a tow through AAA, they sent Lucky towing. The guy who arrived seemed very young and inexperienced. He tried jumping the van to drive it up onto the truck but it wouldn't start. He then hooked our econoline up to the chain and kept cranking the van to the right to "shift it" to line up to the ramp. I asked if he put the car in neutral and he said it won't go into neutral with a dead battery. I then went inside because "im just a woman" and sent my husband out. My husband asked him again if he put the car in neutral and he said he not yet because he was cranking it over to line up with the truck. He dragged our van a good 10 feet sideways with it not being in neutral. (Clearly the wheels weren't spinning) Furious to see what the auto shop says needs repaired as this can cause tire, transmission, enginee, and frame damage from the "cranking". It took him a good 30 minutes to get the van loaded up. Not only that but he also left scraps from the tire on my asphalt driveway as well as tore up asphalt from leaving the van in neutral so now we have a pot hole to repair on top of it. Can't speak for the whole company but I definitely don't recommend the gentlemen we had. I believe his name was Gavin.
