A few weeks ago we took a truck to Ethan's Auto Repair for an alignment, we told him we knew there was an issue if he could check it out. He told us what was wrong and the cost for repair. We wanted to fix it himself due to the cost and advised Ethan of that and asked if he owed him anything. No, never got a bill either and keys were in the truck for pick up. Today we take the truck back for the alignment and they tell my husband $160.. he discussed with the lady, asked to talk to Ethan, no luck. So, I call to get a quote.. $79.95.. well then why did you tell my husband $160. She then tells me that it is a diagnostic fee, for taking it and fixing it ourselves. Well shouldn’t we have been charged for that initially?!?! You can’t just tack that fee on at another appointment! I asked when this became effective and she spouts off last week. We have always taken our vehicles there, but we are not recommending that anymore because obviously they like to go behind your back and screw you over.

I've been going to Ethan for years and I cannot recomend him any more highly!! Ethan is one of the only honest mechanics I've ever met and he bends over backwards to do everything in his power to get parts and get you your vehicle back ahead of schedule. The staff are all polite and courteous and I wish I could rate higher then 5 stars as the shop absolutely deserves it. Kudos!!

Thank You to Everyone @Ethan's...Very helpful. If you don't know a lot about vehicles they'll make sure you can understand what they'll do or did to your car. I'm not very car knowledgeable but when I asked them to show me how I could extend the time between visits they told me. Now I'm getting ready to go back to them so my car can get some problems fixed.
