Oh Grainger how far you've fallen from your glory days. The business model of charging everyone a different price works for airlines, but no longer for hardware (for those that don't know, large companies get massive discounts while the small business who needs a break pays full price + more) . And where are your employees, the ones who have technical experience and know product lines? One person operating the main showroom? Laughable. And my ordered items that should have been stocked? Basic fittings. Nope, gotta order them in. Was told they'd have the items by 8:30am the next day. At 4pm the following day (new early closing time) no update on where the items were...at the store but not checked in or lost in combat or? Seriously, it feels like the company is on life support. Meanwhile back at the ranch, I'm ordering the same parts (and more) from McMaster Carr at a lower price and guaranteed delivery the next day. Granger I'm confident that Amazon and others are eating your lunch. In your last moments give us a reason to shop with you instead of the competition. FIRE your executives...apparently they have no meaningful strategy to bail this sinking ship out, seams like your about to join the ranks of SEARS. And finally, stop it with the 8" thick catalog that no ones uses...get your web site functional, that should have happened 10 years ago.
