I haven't been here, but I plan on it. The man on the phone was very kind to answer my slew of questions concerning recycling. There is no charge on glass or any appliances. They do not take whole windows or mirrors in frames. This is a great service that they offer. Thank you Ozark County! Great way to clean up our community, sadly, because of what others have left behind. Oh, BTW, they do not pay out for scrap metal. Ok*** here is my edit after visiting this place twice now**""" The first time I went there was a younger man who did all the lifting of containers from my car, he was very jovial and friendly! I made a few mistakes regarding what was suitable for recycling and what was not, and he didn't make a fuss and put them back in my car ( what a relief!). The experience was positive, and I enjoyed his demeanor for the 15 to 20 minutes I spent there. My 2nd visit: The man who assisted me this time was a middle-aged man, and I could tell before I got out that he wasn't in a good mood. (I sorely missed the man who helped me, the first time, at this point), the older man just looked at the buckets of glass that I had the car, and didn't get to lifting them, he said "it's all broken glass". I said "yes, but it's all clear glass". He then complained that there were natural debris (leaves, dirt) in with the glass. I explained that I was cleaning up my sons target practice area, and such was the case with the glass. He was moving very slow, and so I helped lift the containers from my vehicle. He then made an issue that there were lids still attached to the glass. I asked would he like me to to go through and take them off? He shook his head, without saying anything. I proceeded to finish this task and go on my way without a further word besides, "good day to you". In retrospect, sometimes the sun shines, and sometimes it's cloudy.

The recycling center employees are very rude. They have a big sign that says they accept aluminum cans, plastics, and trash. Trash is $2 a bag to dump. So now I will always take my trash there just to brighten that guys day!
