On a Thursday night in the middle of November, I was on I-71 driving back to my home in Kansas City from New Jersey when I started getting a shimmy in the front end of my Volvo S40 . I pulled off at truck rest stop but couldn't find anything obvious wrong, but due to the shaking in my steering wheel, I had to drive on the shoulder for a about 4 miles with the flashers on and finally made it off at the Ashland exit. After checking into a hotel, I looked up local repair shops on my laptop and decided that Apar looked like the best bet. It didn't hurt that I was able to make an appointment with them online for the next morning. At the shop the next morning, I spoke with Roy and he said he would call me and let me know what they found. After a few hours he called and said that I would need new CV joints and control arms and he quoted me a price of about $2K, which I found fair after looking it up online. My car is a 2005, so it probably was due for new CV joints anyway! Later in the afternoon, when I picked up the car, I found out that they had to go all the way to Cleveland to pick up the parts, which I really appreciated-- especially on a Friday. The total charges ended up being $200.00 less than what Roy had originally quoted. He also made a point of showing me the parts they replaced and I was able to get back on the road by 3:00 pm. The guys at Apar really did me a solid by getting the parts so quickly and fixing it the same day. My hat is off to them. Thanks, guys! I would hightly recommend this shop based on the way I was treated, their professionalism, and how they went out of their way to help me-- even though I was from out of town and would probably not be a return customer. I also enjoyed hanging out in Ashland for the day, which is a very nice historic Ohio small town. They have a great public library, and the brew pub in town is awesome. Go Ohio!

The guys at APAR we amazing! After taking our vehicle to two other shops with no success APAR quickly diagnosed the problem and had our vehicle ready to go in just a couple days. They kept me up to date throughout everything and pricing was very reasonable! Highly recommend them for anyone needing work done.

Brought my truck in for front-end drag/binding. Price was fair for having discs, pads and calipers replaced. I booked my appointment online, which wasn't noticed by the shop. Should've called in instead. Probably cost me half a day, but they worked me in and got me going.
