Had to unfortunate experience of having my car repossessed. Paid it off to redeem my vehicle and it was taken here. I live in Cleveland. So I made the earliest appointment, which happened to be 10:00. Turns out, I waited in 30 degree weather for an hour and 15 minutes by myself with no direction. The people in the office were very kind. But there a MAJOR issue with management here. ALSO… they gave my car back to me with an empty tank? Although I had a quarter tank when it was towed. Sketchy. Furthermore, I asked if they were aware of my appointment and they said “well, we had a meeting”. Complete disregard of my physical and mental well being in an already tough situation. Kind of wondering if they drove my car instead of towing it properly. The guy who drove my car to me was very jolly and had no apologies or anything for my wait. Really terrible experience.

Serious post-sale issue regarding a Nissan Titan (that we purchased a post sale inspection on as well) purchased on September 18th and delivered to our store on September 19th following a Post Sale Inspection (PSI) on this specific unit. Upon delivery, our service department identified a faulty dosing valve, and we immediately scheduled service with Nissan. Nissan reprogrammed the dosing valve and returned the vehicle nearly a week later, stating the issue had been resolved. However, on the same day, the check-engine light reappeared. Nissan’s follow-up testing determined a #6 injector failure requiring replacement at a cost of approximately $4,000. Nissan further advised that the DEF malfunction and 5 mph speed restriction might persist even after the injector repair, and that the vehicle could additionally require complete catalytic converter replacements estimated at $9,887. Within two weeks of purchase, we contacted your auction regarding these concerns. We were informed that the vehicle was our responsibility and were offered four auction credits. The response we received from the manager (Rich Peyton) at that time was unsympathetic and dismissive of the seriousness of the issue, despite the scale of our partnership. While we understand occasional challenges in post-sale scenarios, the circumstances here, particularly with a vehicle that underwent your PSI, are unacceptable. Given the vehicle’s current state and the projected repair costs, we believe this transaction represents a complete breakdown of process and accountability. We are requesting that the vehicle be returned to your auction for unwind/repurchase.

A few months ago arrived at the check-in box 11:58 AM. It was a few people ahead of me so as I stood in line waiting patiently, Before I knew it was noon. As I walk up to the window and hand The lady, my ID and deposit, she says I cannot come into the auction today because it’s noon. I simply tell her I was here before noon waiting. She begins to get nasty with me also being very aggressive. I simply asked to speak with a manager to let them know of her behavior. She said it does not matter if I speak with a manager or not they are not gonna let me in for that day. I said that is fine. I just wanna speak with a manager attitude. she walks off to go get a manager cursing at me. I wait for about five or 10 minutes. I’m thinking she’s not gonna go grab a manager so I ask security. Hey do you mind if I go in there and find a manager the security said no problem go find a manager as I’m walking in to go find a manager. She’s walking up with a manager like get out get out!!! I say hey, I’m grown at the end of the day. You don’t have to talk to me like that. I am not your child. The manager begins to go off as well so I say hey sir I know you from previous experiences I’ve been coming to this place for years you don’t have to speak with me like that. You don’t even know the situation he said hey man I’m sorry about that. It’s a lot going on today is auction day. I said OK well can I get your information so I can contact you and speak with you about it he said yes I get the information she like get out again! I’m like could you get her? She don’t have to talk to me that period, so I gathered his information and I’m leaving out, I immediately called him to leave a voicemail. He never got back with me about anything that happened . I try to go to auction today August 21,2024 just to learn that I’m banned this is unfair. I did nothing wrong. I was not belligerent or anything under my file says I’m banned for being belligerent. I feel if so None of my concerns were considered or heard out. I’m simply banned for trying to do the right thing and make a complaint to a manager. This is wrong with so many ways I feel so I am getting this treatment because I am a man of color and this is not right.
