I would fire every single one of these board members. My homeowners has increased 39% in the last 2 years. In April of 2024 I paid $2,520 and now the renewal in April of 2026 they want to collect $4,117. I am told it is due to the age of my roof being 15 years old. Not sure why when I have 50 year shingles. Maybe these CEOs should get out of the insurance business and into the shingle business. They could build us a 10-year shingle at a lower cost! I doubt anybody can afford to reshingle their house every 10 years but I'm told that is what you need to do or pay higher premiums. It's crazy how a consumer can pay a higher price for insurance due to the age of the roof when the insurance companies don't even cover the whole roof. It is prorated based on age of the shingle. I will be leaving crappy and cova and switching to matic as my premium will be $3,187.50 and I will also save half on my vehicle. Apparently I've been paying double of what I should have been paying on my vehicle. Thanks again in cova and good luck at the board meeting.

If I could give no stars, I would! Pay all this money, for what? I got Absolutely no help, with an accident that wasn't my fault. I called numerous times, with no response. Maybe an email asking if I wanted encova to take care of the damages. I guess maybe that's the only time you can get help from this company, when you have them take of your claim even though it shouldn't go against you because the accident wasn't your fault. You have to pay the money for the police report, because you want your vehicle fixed so in order to have that happen in a timely manner you have to take matters into your own hands and fight it out with the person responsible insurance company with no help from encova, because I can't get my calls returned. They have no problem taking my money, but don't want to do anything for me when I need them to. Stress free? Ha far from it. So glad some of these people that sent a review had a Stress free experience, unfortunately I did not and still am not over a month later and still not resolved. I mean where does my money even go for this insurance, because it definitely isn't to help me.

Mark Dorris did a great job handling and expediting my case. I hit a deer and my car was totaled. Mark communicated with me, and always responded quickly to any calls or texts that i sent. Hit the deer on Monday, received my settlement check on Thursday. Even sent me a check covering some of the taxes incurred. With employees like Mark begind them, Encova is a good choice for insurance coverage. I even have Encova for my home insurance.
