If i wanted to throw random parts at my problem i would have done it myself. I brought it to a mechanic to diagnose my problem and fix it. We are talking about a radiator fan not something that is really tough to diagnose. Now i am out $515 with the same issue I had before and probably an inferior fan installed (nothing against it but old OEM was probably better). They knew they messed up and pretended otherwise. Edit. 11/17/25 Leave it alone, you already harassed me on facebook. Honest good people, at least attempt to fix their mistakes. if you want to keep going and air out everything it going to look really bad for you, so please just stop. You already have my money, just stop while your ahead. if you can do that i will remove this edit.

I typically don’t do this but I feel like this needs to be shared because I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. My intention is not to bash this business but to explain my experience. My mom has always had a great experience at Wooten’s and has been going to him for years. I’ve always been very happy with how well they’ve treated parents and how they’ve treated my mom especially since my dad has passed away. They have always been very helpful and quick to help her. So my experience was very surprising and disappointing to me. I brought my truck to them after one of my front tire’s rim had cracked. I went in there last Friday and the owner priced what a new rim would cost me and was trying to figure out what a used one would cost. He was very helpful and friendly.. He made a phone call and the person he spoke with happened to be at a junk yard and found a rim that matched my truck. While he was still on the phone, he told me that it was $64.00. I thought I heard him wrong so I said “164?” And he said “No, $64.” So of course I said I’d take it. I Immediately stepped outside and called my mom and told her the price and thanked her for pushing me to go here because this felt like a weight off my shoulders for once. Mr Wooten said he would get the rim the following day and told me I would get a call on Monday. Fast forward to late Wednesday afternoon and I still hadn’t received a phone call and I’ve been driving on a spare for almost 2 weeks so I was getting nervous. I walked in yesterday and the owner initially seemed confused but then admitted to forgetting about me and that he hadn’t got the rim yet but told me he would get the rim that evening and to come back in the morning. He was very nice and apologized. I drive past here multiple times a day so I know how busy they are so I could see how this could happen. I show up this morning, my new rim gets put on, and he comes in and asked the receptionist what price he told me and I told him “you said $64.” And I immediately was dismissed and told something along the lines of “No it would never be that.” Which I do know that $64.00 is low and I knew that there would be tax and labor on top of that. I know what price I was told because I asked twice and immediately had texted more than one person while standing at the counter the price I was told. They call over to their other shop and get the invoice. At this point I’m sitting in the shop crying like an idiot because I had planned for the price I was told and money is very tight for me and I am struggling to get by. The invoice arrives and it was $150. The receptionist said she would go show him and I told her I’d just pay it because I wanted to just get out of there. She wanted to show him anyway. She came back in and said that Mr Wooten offered another option, that option being “taking my rim off and putting my old one back on if I don’t want to pay it.” I drive my babies around in this truck, so thats not really an option. All together it ended up costing me $198.00. Which may not seem like a lot, but when you plan for one price and then you get hit with this, it is a lot. I did go back through text messages I had sent Friday and I was in fact told $64.00. Not that it really makes a difference to him or his business, but my family will not be coming back here, including my mother who is feeling guilty and so upset that she had pushed me to come here because she has had nothing but good things to say since we moved here in 2006 and started coming here. The receptionist was wonderful and so were the other staff I encountered. Im very sad that things went the way they did today. At the end of the day, my rim is fixed and I can at least feel better when driving my kids around.. All I can say is when you receive your estimate, get it in writing. Again, this isn’t to bash this business but I’m just sharing my experience.

Mr. Wooten is extremely knowledgeable and a very nice person. They do a great job and are honest people. He has always helped me with any issues I have had with my cars and I now only see him for my mechanical needs.
