Sold me a truck with a bad motor and cleared engine codes. As soon as I hit the highway engine codes came on for timing chain. On top of that they told me they didn’t have the title aces had to mail it to me. The reason was the truck was totaled and they never told me!! I drove in from NY and am unable to register truck. Attempted to call and they left messages to no avail!! BE AWARE!!! SCAMMERRS!!

Steve today showed me a vehicle that I was interested in and although it didn't work out he stayed out in the cold with me answered all my questions and was very pleasant even though a sale was not closed. I have met quite a few car sales people over my lifetime as I'm a bit older, and unfortunately not all the sales people I have come into contact with have handled things well when the sale was not made . This is not the case with Steve he was pleasant from start to finish and even though he did not make the sale he handled it with Grace. I would recommend inquiring on vehicles here based on prices at this dealership, as well as, representation of the vehicles. Wish you the very best and happy holidays. Randall Lors

I purchased a 2010 Saab 9-3 on 9/6/2024 and the very same day I purchased it, it had intermittent starting issues, strong smell of gasoline, and clouds of white smoke coming from the exhaust. I contacted certified mechanics in Pittsburgh who quickly verbally estimated based on the issues described that the repair would cost as much as $5k. Since the cash value of the car was only ~$2k or less, I chose not to have the repair work done. Instead, I called Steve to inform him of the car not starting and turbo issues to see if he would be willing to share in the repair costs. He simply said, “I never heard of a car having these problems. Try getting another mechanic to diagnose”. I called the SAAB mechanic at Baum BLVD motors Pittsburgh PA to schedule an appt, but he quickly told me to take the car back and informed me it would cost more than the car's value to fix without even having to look at it. I contacted Steve again, but he offered no help and said, “as is” is “as is”. I knew at that point he would be of no help, but I completed an inquiry on his website requesting a trade in value and I never got a response. So, I continued to drive with fuel injection issues while trying to save for another car. However, in late Dec the belt broke. I had the car towed to pep boys thinking I could fix the belt to get a little more life before salvaging the vehicle. Pep boys called to inform me that it was against their policy to fix something on a car that they considered unsafe to drive. The mechanic went on to explain that the A axle of the frame/ suspension system was so severely rusted that it was breaking lose from the body. He said there was puddy and tape where there should have been steel. He provided pictures to show how bad it was and said this should never have been sold because of safety concerns. According to Ohio consumer law, frame rust damage must be disclosed even if sold “as is’ and even if the buyer does not ask about it. This was NEVER disclosed , and it is possible that the tape and puddy were used to conceal the damage which suggests fraud. I feel fortunate that nothing happened while driving the car. If the wheel had broken loose, it could have caused a devastating accident. Steve offered a replacement car after I filed a complaint with the Ohio AG but he only did it to close the complaint. I filed a small claims case because of the frame rust but later found out that you have to PROVE the dealer knew about it which is easier said than done. I know he knew about it but proving it in a court of law is different. So I remain hopeful but no confident. A dealer in Ohio can sell a car without ever inspecting it. The major takeaway here is the consumer rights laws in Ohio that govern used car dealerships need to change!!!!! If you find a car you like here, I'm sure you can find one somewhere else. If it looks to good to be true - IT IS. A GOOD BUSINESS WOULD NEVER HAVE SOLD A CAR WITH A SAFETY ISSUE. AND THE OHIO LAW SHOULD NOT ALLOW IT EITHER.
