Warning to Anyone Scrapping here – Total Rip-Off! I was told over the phone that they pay $7 per 100 pounds of steel. I brought in 700 pounds, yet they handed me only $31—do the math, that’s less than half of what they promised. It gets worse: Before we even got on the scale, it was already reading -110 pounds, and it kept jumping around when we drove over it. My truck weighs 8,800 pounds, empty. Their scale said 8,000 pounds flat—convenient, right? This place is a scam. If they’re shorting me that much in broad daylight, how many other people are they ripping off who don’t check the numbers? Do yourself a favor and take your scrap somewhere honest. Share this so others don’t get taken advantage of too. To add on to my last review Ripped Off Again – Dishonest and Disappointing This is the second time Stone Roads has shorted me, and I’ve had enough. This time, we brought in the entire cab and bed of a Ford F-150—clearly more weight than the last load. Yet somehow, they marked it as less weight, and to top it off, paid less per pound, even though steel prices have gone up. I didn’t weigh it myself, but come on—anyone can tell a full F-150 cab and bed is not light, and it was clearly more than the last trip. The numbers just don’t add up, and it feels like they’re playing customers for fools. It's incredibly frustrating to be treated like this after giving them another chance. I want to support local businesses, but not when it feels like a scam. If you’re thinking of bringing your scrap here—be cautious, and don't expect fair treatment. Stone Roads, seriously—get your act together. Your customers deserve honesty and respect.

U-pull it yard is permanently closed since 2019. Their website for the u-pull is still active and doesn’t mention the closure anywhere.

I bought something from market place. And if was exactly as described people were very nice laid back. I will definitely be doing business with them again in the near future.
