I purchased a 1952 chevy from Pete who is a stand up guy. Car is exactly what he said it was, condition wise no sugar coating, which goes a long way when your going off his word and you live 2200+ miles away. He also set up transport and kept me posted with any questions I had. I was a bit nervous buying a car online but every thing turned out better then I could've hoped. I personally bought an old 1951 Chevrolet Pickup from Iron City Garage late last summer. The owner, Pete, was great to work with. He was very professional about the business and helped to make the purchase of the truck, fast, easy, and without any problems at all. He even delivered the truck right into my driveway 45 minutes away. The business he is running is top notch, and he does an awesome job of bringing old trucks back to life. Not only was the truck he sold me in great shape and from the south with little rust, Iron City Garage did a complete rebuild on the 216 motor, rebuilt the transmission, brakes and brake lines, replaced the windows, painted the inside of the cab and the engine bay, did a 12v conversion, and rewire the entire truck. The work that was performed was excellent. They really know what they are doing to bring the best out of these old trucks. There are a bunch more just like mine he has for sale, and is constantly working to bring in more to the Pittsburgh area, and the whole Northeast side of the US. So if you are looking for an old truck to purchase, and do not want to deal with the hassle and run around of an unreliable seller, I highly recommend Iron City Garage. Very professional, very friendly, and very reliable, and most importantly, a great guy with a great business.
