My sedan needed a tune- up and brakes checked, so I took it to Walters Automotive on a recommendation from a coworker. They diagnosed a worn rotor right away and replaced it without trying to upsell me on unnecessary stuff like some shops do. The guys there are straightforward, explained the costs upfront, and had me out by early afternoon. Pricing was reasonable for the quality, and they even rotated the tires as part of the service. Ive started using them for all my maintenance now since theyre reliable and close to home.

After recently moving to Pittsburgh, I needed to find a trustworthy mechanic fast. Multiple Reddit threads pointed me to Walter’s Automotive, and they absolutely lived up to the reputation. They were easy to work with and straight to the point. No upsell, no nonsense. I brought in an out-of-state car that needed PA inspection and emissions, along with a new power steering pump since I was losing steering at low speeds. The first pump ended up failing after about a day. I called Walter’s Automotive, and they immediately had me bring the car back in, ordered a brand-new part, and replaced it at no cost. No charge for the part, no charge for labor. It’s rare to find a mechanic who truly stands behind their work. The car steers perfectly now, and I’ve officially found my go-to shop in Pittsburgh. Highly recommend.

Probably the most comfortable I’ve been at a mechanic shop! Everyone was very nice and approachable and made the process of the inspection easier. Most importantly, they were HONEST! They run an honest business and are super helpful. I will absolutely be going back and will be recommending them to everyone I know!
