On a Sunday afternoon car broke down about 30 miles from home and mechanic. Insurance company said they couldn't locate a tow truck and asked if it was okay to wait until Monday. So I looked up and called A-1 Towing. Upon answering the phone it was clear to me I was working with a driver who knew the area well and was ready to help a stranded family. He asked how many of us there were and if we had another way home. He arrived in 20 minutes and took us all back in his cab. When we got close to the mechanic where we asked to drop off, he asked if our home was on the way. It was, so we stopped there to get a car for the trip home. Considering another towing service wanted double what A1 asked for (and i am pretty sure I was talking to a national call center), A1 got the job done, made sure we were home safe, and were friendly, clean, and professional. This is a local business with people who care. We were home before dark safe and sound. I won't forget it.

My truck stalled out and I call the local TA, who gave me the number to A1 because they were busy. We let me tell you what that guy Ed did! HE FIXED MY TRUCK! TOLD ME WHAT WAS THE CAUSE! GOT IT STARTED! AND FOLLOWED ME TO THE NEAREST FUEL STATION TO MAKE SURE I WAS GOOD! And to think I was about to spend hundreds of $$$$ to get it towed. THANK YOU Ed. I wish you all had a roadside program.
