Great fast reliable service.. I made an appointment to get an inspection for my 2025 Chevy Equinox EV and was done in about 45 min. As I was waiting I witnessed one of the mechanics go out while it was snowing to inspect a woman's car who just needed some oil to be topped off. He did it completely free of charge. The mechanic I was dealing with was very funny and had a great personality. I will be bringing my business here again and recommending it to others.

Just had a great experience taking my car to Pep Boys in Bridgeville for state inspection and oil change. They were able to take me on short notice and did the work fairly quickly while I waited. Great service by Bob and the tech who did the work. Will be going back for services in the future based on this positive experience.

Getting my brakes replaced with Pep Boys was easily the worst automotive experience I’ve had in a very long time. A few months ago during my state inspection, I was told that I would need new brake pads and rotors. Since then, my rear brakes have been screeching and I knew it was time to get my brakes replaced. I scheduled an appointment on their website for 1:30 PM, however, my car wasn’t serviced until 5 PM. A few moments later, I was told by the associate that my brakes were “good enough” and that because they passed inspection I should continue to drive on them. Originally they wanted to replace both the front and rear brakes, but only the rear brakes were giving me problems. When asked if I could just have the back brakes serviced, that is when the associate told me that they didn’t have the correct replacement parts in stock and didn’t know when they would get them in. I decided to cut my losses and when my car wasn’t brought back out to me, I got inside and it smelled like an ash tray. All things considered, a very negative experience, and I don’t think I will be going back anytime soon. I will also be encouraging others to avoid Pep Boys in the future as well.
