My experience here was wonderful. Rodney and Kelly were awesome. If you're here doing research by reading reviews, read all of them. The bad one are all people who couldn't pass their inspection or had breathalyzer systems. You should definitely give them a chance to show you what they're really about. They go above and beyond with their attention to detail and their flexibility to meet your schedule.

Above comprehension, they made up a bunch of fake vehicle inspection procedure rules, and pretended that my SRS system was faulty after performing an incomplete key cycle lol then charged me $500 for failed inspection you can tell a lot about a mechanic by his tools — in this case I found a garage full of harbor freight tools thrown everywhere across this shop Edit: the SRS system had zero fault but Above Auto pretended that it did, simply because they did not turn the key to the 0 position (completing the ignition cycle as I had mentioned earlier). They then told me my vehicle required servicing of the airbag without doing a real diagnosis first! As for the “inspection procedure”, most of the claimed requirements by Above Auto were a bunch of bullshit. For instance, they were trying to tell me the direction of my strut fork bolt would be enough to fail an inspection, despite it being in the exact orientation as equipped from factory. The bottom line is this mechanic lied to me directly and told me what work my car needed to pass, and he told me once I performed the work he would pass the vehicle. After performing the specifically outlined repairs, he failed the vehicle because I didn’t want to pay him $3500 to perform the completely unnecessary work.

This has to be the worse place to do business with. They’ve illegally moved my vehicle with a forklift, hid my vehicle in their yard and threatened to charge me storage fees and lost the keys and won’t replace them. There were also additional damages to vehicle such as dents that were not present and forklift marks on my under carriage. They’ve also charged me for services that were never rendered. The quality of business is unacceptable and they’ve shown me nothing more than poor work ethics and bad morale. This is not a good place of business nor are the people decent enough to business with. If I could give this place “No Stars”, I’d do just that. In addition to the owners response, there are several discrepancies and lies within your response and business tactics. I never stated that my car was a problem but, that I work 16hr shifts and would be able to pick up my vehicle outside of your business hours. That is not an easy feat when the owner not only lost your key but, has blocked off access in efforts to get money for services never rendered. Again, if you find a reputable place of business stick with it before entrusting your vehicle and hard earned money to these people. It’s also strange that I asked to see video footage and none could be supplied until after a review. Ironically footage is now available to the public but, not the consumer. #BEWARE
