I brought my car to Meineke in Emmaus after noticing dark oil stains coming from the engine area. I also needed an oil change and wanted to take care of everything quickly. My wife had highly recommended this location based on past experiences, so I trusted her judgment. After dropping the car off, I received a phone call with some rough news. The transfer case was cracked and leaking oil, and the repair would have been extremely expensive, even with a used part. That was obviously frustrating to hear. I asked them to top it off so I could safely limp the car home while I figured out next steps. Thankfully, it turned out my vehicle was still under a drivetrain warranty up to 100,000 miles, and the repair was fully covered through Nissan. While Meineke didn’t do that specific repair, they absolutely earned my trust through their honesty and transparency. They could have easily glossed over the issue or pushed unnecessary work, but instead they were upfront, fair, and clear about my options. I’ll continue using Meineke for my regular maintenance and service needs. This location is honest, fairly priced, and professional. They’ve earned my future business, and I completely understand why my wife recommended them. Ask for Will or Chris. They are the best.

Will the owner is extremely kind helpful and professional. He just hired an office manager Chris who is extremely kind and professional as well. They had installed and removed a device on my car and I was at first very concern because I drive an expensive luxury car, but did an amazing job. I would certainly recommend anyone to go to this meineke location for their automotive needs. Thank you Will and Chris. Will this is the guy from the BX NY. The name you see is my stage name ?

Went in for a simple oil change, which was reasonably priced. That was fine. While they were in there they found a cracked gasket. Which is fine, they showed me that it was broken. What wasn’t fine was the price. Based off what I researched online I should’ve probably been paying $650 at MAX for the oil change + replacement part. I was initially quoted at $717 which was steep, but I bit the bullet and approved it because I didn’t want to drive with leaking oil (they said there was a “significant” oil leak). At a certain point, one of the owners, Will, came out and showed me the new part they were going to put in. He claims that he told me it was going to be an extra $400 to put this part in during our conversation… I have no recollection of this so I was shocked at my bill being $1100+ when I went to pay for everything. He swears up and down that he told me I was going to be paying extra but I’m not so sure. At the very least there should’ve been another “are you sure you want to have this done” text sent to me with the new price attached. There wasn’t. I feel like I was swindled because I went in for an oil change and left having paid $1100, and the services listed on the invoice didn’t match what they told me I was getting done. Also I was there for four hours, wasting half my day through for this underwhelming, overpriced experienced. At least I got a $20 “first time customer discount.” I won’t be a second-time customer though, that’s for sure.
